I’m feeling a HE get together???

Em (@emily)10 years, 5 months ago

K, I’ll be out of commission probably all day–but everytime I think of something to post someone beats me to it–so I’m tossing this out quick before I leave the house!

Since I was a kid–it has been my dream to one day do the flying trapeze like in the circus. Seriously. I was talking about it a month or so ago–and whoa, I just happen to stumle across an add for flying trapeze lessons in Rhinebeck, NY (not on stumble upon website, I literally stumbled upon in real life). Anyhow…$90 for two hours. It’s mid June through mid July you can sign up-but they need notice. I’m thinking we could go to that for a day or two over a weekend—then I could find someplace for us to camp nearby. I don’t mind making all the arrangements-you guys let me know. I know it’s a hike for a lot of people-but anyone who could make it–I think it’d be a lot of fun. Whatcha think??

I definitely think it would be fun. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking summer classes here at college to get my language requirement out of the way…

Wow! I may be up for the camping lololol not so much the circus lessons! I’m not from New York, but I lack a way to go by myself down to the US :

LOl, I would Em, but no way can I hike to NYC right now from MI. Chicago I can do. Milwaukee I can do (shudder), but NYC just won’t cut it right now. However, I DO want an HE get together.

I could do Chicago!

I’m not far from New York, just across the border, trapeze and sky diving.

Let’s plan a date sometime this year, where people have like “HE” get togethers. maybe Chicago, NYC, DC, whatever and we should all do one big ass skype video conference call. that’d be rockin :P

Skydiving is on my to do list of life (see Bucket List thread) and I plan to do it this summer. BUT… if there are other HE-ites talking about doing it I may hold off. That’d be a blast!

What about..

HE-sians?
HE-ders
HE-ish
HE-vians
Member o’ the clan o’HE
HE-men
HE-esstrials

Adam Mac (15) (@emceedan) 10 years, 5 months ago ago

Haha “HE-men” nice.
I thought about HE-ers, HE-ans, and HE-ians. I think it would have to flow with HE not being abbreviated which is why I liked High Existence-ites and High Existencers the most.

Andy (28) (@andy) 10 years, 5 months ago ago

HE-ites, lolz

Rain (23) (@rain) 10 years, 5 months ago ago

I prefer High Existencers.

We could just be Highons? Lolol…

Rain (23) (@rain) 10 years, 5 months ago ago

LMAO, yes, as an abbreviated title, HE-thens is perfect.

HE-donists? ;)

It was an inside joke with my sister and I bc our religious grandmother refered to us as hethens bc we were her only grandkids who were never baptized–I love it Andy!!
I suppose I’ll get the detailed info on the trapeze & cost on camp sites, etc, & keep you’s guys posted..

HE-thens, I love that! HE-men and HE-estrials is good too but I really like the double-meaning behind HE-thens. @andy, I think you deserve a prize of some kind :)

A group skype call would be awesome. Anyone know of a free service for big group video chatting?
