Hello, I wrote the above blog post in response to the recent HE article about easy meditation. I wondered if you had a response you’d like to share. It would be very interesting to me. I am always inspired and interested in this website.

Very good post, and I agree with you.
Complicated meditation techniques do just that, complicate things, meditation is mean to simplify things.
There were good points in the article, but I couldn’t imagine looking at a clock during meditation.

But Misty, meditation is just a focused thought on reality., Clocks are part of reality. Why would you block out one part of reality and not another when you’re meditating? Clocks just are. Like your mind, and all the bad thoughts and good thoughts that came out of it. on the surface they seem to have negative or positive meanings in reality, but when you accept all for what it is, you see all things are equal. Time exists, no reason to deny it at any time. Once you get there, you’ll see how easy it is to look at a clock in deep bliss.
