In ten years, what do you think you'll want to tell your 2013 self?

I often look back at my younger self, and I have things I want to warn my younger self about, things I want to tell her before she gets older, things I wish I would have known 5, 10, 15 years ago even.

But what about your future older self? What will he/she want to tell the present you?

For me, I think my 2023 self would say–take things day by day, never think too far ahead. Don’t neglect those who care about you. Don’t be a person of convenience–no shortcuts. Express your feelings truthfully. Be honest, even when it hurts. Don’t smoke. Don’t ever think it’s okay to skip class for no good reason. Don’t be afraid to fall in love; it really is not a curse. Choose to be happy–it’s harder than being sad, but it’s the key to truly living. Oh, and that boy you’re going to meet? He’s tall and cute and funny, but he’s going to tell you exactly who he is, and you should listen to him and run in the opposite direction (probably). :)

What about you?

This quote pretty much sums it up.
“Worrying is using your imagination to create something you don’t want” -Esther Hicks
Wish I had realized this while I was in still in high school, but I know now so who cares about the past.

How would I know the answer to this. It’s 10 years of experience I don’t have.
