Is world domination feasible

emptyminded (@thoughtless) 6 years, 11 months ago

Taking over the world as been an idea jumping around way before I was born. We look around and see military advancements all around the globe. Civil wars have been fought in the pass for this flying rock whirling through space. I say all this to say, its obvious that taking over the world means… “the one with the bigger gun”.

If i point a big gun on the earth and was able to shoot where i want with the intensity i want solve the problem of a power struggle?

MOST IMPORTANT PART

what do you think is a feasible means of controlling the planet?

p.s I not a bad person, really, i believe the Venus project is very much possible even.

Power struggles are the essence of life.

To end the struggle on earth is to end the earth herself.

All the creatures in the world can co exist. Im not saying that a cat will stop killing things smaller than itself, or birds will stop eating worms; that’s the power struggle in nature and its completely natural. what i am talking about is the struggle between humans, that is artificial, man created. Its spawns out of greed and selfishness and that is what needs to end. ending that does not end the earth, in fact it will make it better…

All the creatures in the world do already coexist. Always have, always will.

The struggle between humans is not unique or artificial. It’s the same struggle for all mammals, humans just happen to be more intelligent and complex.

Humans are not separate from nature in any way. We are a part of the process, our struggles are natural.

It spawns out of many different things, not just greed and selfishness. It’s natural and only some of it is “bad”.

What really needs to end is the loony human idea that changing the world for human convenience or to fit superficial values like pacifism.

Wish i could reply to you faster but i have no net at home…

Its not about convenience, its about unnecessary suffering, putting a stop to that is worth changing anything imo.

You seem to find solace in suffering or the need there of. Why do you think unnecessary suffering as any significant meaning?

What makes you think this suffering isn’t necessary? What if it is? What makes you think you have the right to define that?

And by the way… do you really not understand that people would suffer even more with a huge gun pointing at them from space? If they could never settle a dispute without fear of your genocide?

People suffer more if they’re forced to abide by a tyrants arbitrary, confusing rules.

Take over the world by means of the proliferation of ideas/ideology.  An idea can take over the world. A person cannot.

Is it safe to assume that being “feasible” makes it right in
the first place? We are already interconnected. Perhaps now even less than six
degrees of separation because of technology. Domination on a global scale could
never be implemented; it goes completely against human nature.
