Just to get an idea: Any experienced mediators, healers, shamans, prayers etc.?

Anonymous (@) 9 years, 9 months ago

For well over a year now I have been researching deep into the objective nature of reality and consciousness from multiple angles (e.g. psychologically, physically, chemically, biologically, metaphysically, socially, philosophically, etc.). With the intent to gather as much information as possible, but avoiding that “settling effect” that dominates most people’s lives. Meaning I thought about, analyzed, and entertained ideas without coloring them in with my opinions, emotions, and predispositions. This often leads to one “settling” on an idea, then morphing it into a dogmatic belief. Though I have “excepted” certain things to be true as things proven over and over again via experimentation and experience. I am willing to edit or reject these exceptions if shown to be flawed or untrue.

I’ve adopted many techniques of meditation and philosophy that have been thoroughly tested to have measurable effects on the environment (e.g. people, animals, plants, inanimate objects, etc.). I have not mastered these skills by any means. I have only, relatively, just begun, though the effects and experiences I have had are unfathomable. I use highly specific intentions of love, compassion, physical change, and visualizations. The changes have left me with a feeling of deep empathy for all things and in terms of society, I feel like I’m standing outside of a giant glass house that is filled with everyone around me and I’m wondering why their all inside when it’s such a beautiful day outside. I want to find a way for everyone to step outside of their box and go outside into the sunshine where the a whole world of possibilities awaits. I cannot do this alone nor do I want to do it alone. I want to get people involved. To unify a small group to help save our dying and corrupted planet. I don’t want to stand aside any longer as our future is being decided for us. The future is OURS to create.

**So, to the point: I am going to be putting together a project of sorts and have adopted Pluto’s name for the world of forms and the eternal, “World of Being”, not to be confused with his “World of Becoming.” It seemed appropriate as a start, but it may be changed to something else or nothing at all. The goal of this project will be to gather individuals who practice meditation, healing, shamanism, or intention in a highly structure, almost experimental, setup to aid in gathering and organizing information related to what I’ve said above, then to use this information and techniques to perform a massively-structured-specific intention, and potentially create a definite process of teaching others in an efficient manner. This will be vast and tedious. It is CRUCIAL to have only those individuals who have taken the leap of faith that our universe and it’s constituents are almost entirely, yet subtly, under our control. The very essence of love and compassion for all of life and inanimate objects, both in meditation and out, is also very crucial to its success. Think, roughly, of our techniques as our “gun,” the situation, object, etc as out “ammunition,” and the end result of an intention to effect the object as our “target.” This is jumping ahead a little bit, but I’m trying to give just the right amount of information to outline, but not get in the way of, the developmental process.

Interests? Thoughts? Concerns? Questions?

Can we just dump a couple kilo’s of LSD in various water supplies and be done with it?

I’m with you man. Unlike you, I’ve been trying to simply hone my skills as a ‘teacher’ or a shaman with only a select few people I know and trust (not being ambitious at all – I’m seeing what techniques work and what ones don’t). Its not easy, and if there is ANY resistance, it is impossible to get by it. You CANNOT teach people meditation and holism of the universe, they themselves must learn it – I hope that is understandable.

You cannot go up to any random person and tell them “Meditation will cure all the negativity in your life, if you accept it as so.” This will undoubtedly lead to “Get away from you stinky hippy!”

Its unfortunate but saying things like “we are all one” or anything of that nature will rarely get people to question their own beliefs (if they believed otherwise). What happens is instant resistance with the foreign, and stigma being tied to the paradigm (stinky hippies).

If you offer classes, the majority of people who show up will be those who already agree and are aware, mindful, etc. Those that don’t show up will distance themselves further (generally). It’s somehow rooted in us to not examine our beliefs heavily, for if we find ourselves wrong it brings heavy pain (sometimes).

Shamanism is interesting to me in that people who do not follow meditation or “we are one” mentality still show interest in Shamanism. They think its very interesting (I’m speaking mostly of psychoactively-induced shamanism). They are willing to listen to a story of a man who had his life changed from heroin junky to model citizen via shamanism. But talk about meditation making everyone happy, and you’ll lose the crowd.

You have to start with something interesting, and make very subtle points to broaden the paradigms – to influence in the most positive way.

Please please please don’t take my word on everything said in here! I want skeptics and non skeptics alike to grind through and research on themselves, to be genuinely curious about this stuff. I’m not trying to be deceptive or drag anyone into something “new agey” or cult like. I’ve simply taken an interest in this and everything I’ve found has convinced ME that this is real very possible. This is not the first time a mass meditation/prayer/intention has been put together. There have been many others like this, but I believe they didn’t not work for their lack of structure. ANYONE CAN LEARN THIS! But not everyone will reach a level of mediation and mindfulness that requires “cleansing” the subconscious mind of all negative emotions, thoughts, doubts, etc. because it seems that negative intentions are more powerful than positive ones. It’s very much related to entropy in that it is easier to create chaos than order. It takes time and discipline to master this..

Consider this an R&D project for starters.

@ijesuschrist, I agree with you. It cannot be taught, which is why I think the best approach is to not even mention these loaded words (meditation, we’re all one, etc) that, to the uneducated, will sound like mystical and new agey. I think it’s best to lay out the science. Start small and slowly introduce these topics in a way that gets people to consider and question on their own. Obviously an incredible feat in any subject, but that’s why I am calling upon other people to get together on this one. Crowd-sourcing information and refining what works and what does not.

I’ve read dozens of books about this and the one that truly stands out among the other in terms of being well-sourced and technical is “The Intention Experiment” by Lynne McTaggart. She presents tons of experiments from all over the world from as far back as the 40’s (i think) many of which, believe it or not, were performed at Ivy-League schools showing what exactly do we know about matter, reality, and consciousness. Also experiments done with monks, priests, etc to see what happens when one enters a meditative and praying state, and what works and what does not. A handful of the experiments failed.

The end of the book pulls out all of the techniques and practices that have shown to work through experimentation and compiles them into a couple chapters that outlines everything. It’s a good read in my opinion with lots of insight that can apply to everyone no matter what religion or belief system.

@we1are3souls7,

The real question here is why my post mysteriously disappeared.. you had two copies of this thread going or what man haha

@egarim, I’m new to High Existence and was trying to post this to a few forum categories and initially it worked but the first one, which you commented on, was automatically deleted and this one stayed. I noticed it too and was confused. Sorry sir :)

@ijesuschrist, Lynne McTaggart presents similar statistics using TM and other methods. To continue to my last comments, perhaps a good way to get this started to present information Aldous Huxley’s “the Perennial Philosophy” and Bernard Haisch’s (astrophysicist) “the god theory” and “the purpose guided universe” being that those are the books that initially fueled my interest and investigation into this subject matter. All three books are extremely well written, unbiased, outside perspectives that i think will be effective. People tend to avoid anything that is shoved down their throats along with mystic and “hippie” terms. They bring the extremes from religion and science to a middle ground or new ground all together.

Ahh just making sure man, we good:)

But about this plan…. the fact that you’re trying to coordinate and take action makes me smile when I think about the fate of people. Go do what needs to be done and let us know what further assistance we can be.

Lastly, have you watched any of the Spirit Science videos on Youtube? Sounds like they would be of interest to you. They cover topics regarding the spirit, meditation, energies derived from people (a sort of energy field that influences other people’s energies; auras), the grand network or energy grid that covers the world and how we can individually and collectively influence it. Really fascinating stuff, but I always take it with a grain of salt.

@egarim, Well thanks I appreciate the support! I don’t want this to be MY thing, I want it to be HUMANITIES. I feel this is the only way. Soon I will be sharing all of the documentaries, books, articles, etc. on a blog that I have found to be the most helpful and informative in a wide variety of genres.

Yes, I have seen some of those videos. The ones that talk about Indigo people and stuff? I honestly do not like their new agey approach, which tends to scare people away, but a lot of the information is parallel to many well documented studies and experiments that actually explain what’s going in with auras, energies, and meditation in well excepted scientific terms, which i feel will be easier for people to cling to. I try to stick with scientific sources and things that can be repeated.

Here some decent documentaries that you might like. Note that books generally are much more ordered and well-sourced than these, allowing them to go more in depth.

“Quantum Communication” (http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/quantum-communication/)

“Hidden Mind Science” or “Mind science kept hidden” [hard to find in full now] (http://theoccultnetwork.com/mind-science-kept-hidden/)

“The living matrix” (http://vimeo.com/21432874)

“Reality and the extended mind” (http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/reality-extended-mind/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TopDocumentaryFilms+%28Top+Documentary+Films+-+Watch+Free+Documentaries+Online%29&utm_content=FaceBook&quot)

“Kymatica” (http://www.trueactivist.com/kymatica/)

some good starter books:

“The God Theory”, “The Purpose Guided Universe” (Bernard Haisch) [philosophical]

“Entangled Minds” (Dean Radin)[experimental data]

“The Intention Experiment” (Lynne McTaggart)[experimental]

@we1are3souls7
So, you are saying shamanism has been experimentally proved??
I’m from india, where they make shamanism look like a superstitious belief. Not just that, we people believe so many silly things that when some group of people practice an act or a ritual, My brain rejects to believe it even if it’s scientifically proven. For instance, In some villages they believe that human sacrifice can make their business’ better and you would be amazed to see that the human they are going to kill in the name of sacrifice is their child. :(

Sorry, this is totally out of your discussion…
Just reminding you was shamanism experimentally proved??

I think the best place to start for anyone who wants to help is to educate yourself. You don’t have to agree with everything, just understand it and know it. If we’re all on the same level then group cooperation with be much more manageable. I’ll share some of the things that I have found, but the majority will have to be done by you.

@achyutram, Well in my experience it is the unconditional love, practice of mindfulness, and quieting the mind that is the underlying structure of all successful healers, shamans, etc. violence, hate, or intention to harm doesn’t really work. Shamanism can have multiple definitions from different cultures. When it was first practiced it worked because people were in tune with the environment and had love, but many cultures and sub cultures have drifted. Much like the different between christianity praying and (extremist) islamic praying.

That interesting that you mentioned that because so many practices and beliefs have all of this built into their methodologies, but they tend to drift away from using it for good or get too comfortable with the noise from their emotions and predispositions. The more you research and use critical thinking the more these similarities will stand out and where they went wrong. I’m still trying to understand it all myself, but I’ve found what works for me. Using pure love and acceptance for all living things is an absolute must to perform successfully. The closest religion/belief system/method to the natural scientific methods, that i’ve come across, is buddhist meditation. I recommend reading/watching stuff i’ve posted in other comments.

It truly is terrible how skewed some belief systems are that they go to that extent to kill their own children. I empathize for those children as well as the ones doing it. Thank you for sharing :)

@we1are3souls7,

I’ll be sure to go down your list and check out all those videos and books.. but for now I’m trying to what the “Hidden Mind Science” one and it won’t play… ahh so frustrating.

Who’s taking down these videos that it’s becoming so hard to find? Makes me wonder about all those damned conspiracy theories (is this knowledge really that sought after?).

@egarim, Yeah that one was on youtube for a bit but just disappeared. Only fragments of it are still around on sketchy websites. It had a lot information based on Dr. William Tiller’s (Stanford) work. Check him out! His black box and water studies are epic

@we1are3souls7, the more I think I about this, the more utterly fascinated I get about the project and I know that myself included, there are enough HEthens who could make a powerful group intent. hell, last year on leapday I decided to spend all of my free time that day meditating, (which roughly equated to about 12 hours) and suggested that as many HEthens as possible join me for as long or as short as they liked. that was a powerful day and we’re due for another one soon

I have must respect for this thread as i gear my life from the indulgent one to a more pure style of appreciation for everything sacrifice of life(i.e food, clothing) while understanding that which is life. I have been looking for a way to initiate a movement but also like you understand it cannot be one that is simply taught but one that needs to be experienced. This is where i have ran in to a wall on how to do it. At the most basic level what we are talking about is self education. The want, ambition, and or intrigue to figure out what “this” is and or how to be happy. So how do we influence the want to learn? This is where i like to use electromagnetism. Through my practice of tai chi and chi gong i have learned a very basic experiment of feeling “chi” or electromagnetism between your hands. This is the type of hands on experience that will open ones mind to the possibilities of and interwoven universe. From this there is a created excitement of how can I increase this power and or are there more abilities. Through research ive notice the occurrence of super natural abilities that spiritual leaders have used in order to further convince followers of the benefits of a pure life. This specifically has been the catalyst to my spiritual journey. And then on the way you learn that you must give up everything you have and or want to get there powers. The only problem is what do you do with powers once you have no want to have them hahaha this is very important i feel.So basically from my POV 1. Excite the desires of beings to be something more and powerful 2. Then the idea of the more pure the more advancements you will make 3. Then the idea of detachment will slowly take over naturally. But it is still a very abstract and impossible idea for majority of society to understand the contentedness and satisfaction of inner happiness to the point of needing no external stimulation. This is one that has to be experience to understand.

Similar sitch to you bro, if you witnessed ones unconscious persona it’s deep, logical, mischievous, the last the last you would ever think to be this hippie new age preacher consciously speaking here but that within becomes ever more apparent. Been reading for 31 hrs, still feel full of energy.

When I first started meditating this article on here actually moved me forward a lot. I had an experience one night that I’ve been trying to back to since. You could call it an OBE or a spiritual experience and I think it could be synonymous with religious experiences like Christianity’s baptism with the holy spirit or Buddhism’s enlightenment or something. I was filled it was a feeling of pure bliss and love and i was immerse in a brilliant white light. I could feel my mind in absence of my body then i started to notice it and it slowly went away and i was “descending” back to my body. I started to feel my body and i was smiling and the sensation was analogous to an atomic bomb version of an orgasm. It changed me from then on. I feel i got a taste of the absolute infinite consciousness. I didn’t know try i just submitted and felt that the material and immaterial universe was in me as i am in it. Enjoy :)

@we1are3souls7, a very noble endeavor to organize and coordinate such an effort, but what is the end-game? What is the purpose, where, when, and how? I ask because I would be interested in participating if the purpose is significant and the rest is feasible as far as coordination goes. I don’t know how much help I’d be, but I’ve been pseudo-studying these same topics ever since I left my dogmatic birth-religion at 14. If I can be of any assistance from a western/eastern philosophy perspective, just let me know.
