but how to develop patience for doing one work at a time..? insecurity feeling and fear factor pop up for those things of personality traits which one postpones for future.
how to identify that core priority which will be cornerstone for personality improvement ? self control to persevere for that priority is very tough..how to achieve that…?
There’s psychological studies for “grit” just emerging now. http://www.brainpickings.org/index.php/2013/09/26/angela-duckworth-grit/
Angela Duckworth would be the leading researcher, I suppose. The term “grit” was coined by her, after all.
Persistence is the most cliché of the “qualities of success”, but it makes the most sense. I suppose the best way to become more persistent and have more self control is to commit. There are no easy roads, I’m afraid.
I think the following link is absolutely where your brother should start.
I follow the method on kratosguide myself. I also start my day off by breathing to the intention of “willingness” and “persistence” for five minutes each at the breathing room on http://www.doasone.org/
The idea behind willingness relating to the ideas of one dr. David Hawkins: http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/04/levels-of-consciousness/
Most of these things really are just one google-search away. Sorry for the abundance of external links, but the issue is so insanely wide it can hardly be explained in one post without spending hours and hours writing.
Also, I haven’t tried this myself, but it is an alternative if you’re only willing to work on just one project at a time. https://www.highexistence.com/end-all-productivity-meditation-technique/ It seems to make sense to me.
Take care now.
thanks dear for the reply… i am searching for methods to overcome these things and live life in a disciplined and joyful manner..hopefully your links will help me..when we want certain results and want to overcome certain habits and old patterns there must be a technique for that change which must work..Thanks
