Hi. I haven’t posted in a while. But I felt very inspired by the movie La La Land. Mainly- the concept about how the two main characters were in love at a point- and how their love will never die- but they did move on because of life’s circumstances which prevented them from being together in the long run.
I am inspired and intrigued because. I feel like my love for the people I have deeply loved in my life (the ones I fell in love with) will never fully die. Not saying that means I want to be with them in the long haul, but saying that I will always love them. Love is an interesting concept. I learned (thus far in my life) that sometimes we choose to be with people, not because of the passion or the sex, but because they make a good fit for us, they complement our characteristics and make life easier for us. We love them because they help us grow. The ones that give us intense passion may help us grow too, but sometimes we are distracted by the intense passion and blinded by the truth of compatibility.
What do you guys think about the concept of love and passion and sex and needing to say bye to someone because of how different you two are, even if intense love is there?
