Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP)

I don’t know if you guys were aware–but there is actually a very large group of law enforcement workers/retirees who are fighting AGAINST the war against drugs. I just got their latest newsletter, thought I’d share if it interests anyone. It’s eye opening when "the enemy" realizes that it’s a pointless war. The letter includes different things the organization has been doing in terms of medical marijuana..etc etc…

Very cool. People from all walks of life see the futility and waste of the war on drugs. I find it more surprising when I encounter people who support it! This reminded me of a good post I saw on reddit earlier today from a member of NORML. I’ve been strong in my opinions on decriminalization and legalization for about 15 years or so and used to be big into NORML in my college days. I don’t smoke much anymore but still feel as strongly about the topic now as I did in my late teens and early twenties. Anyway, check out the link below which in turn, has good commentary (when don’t redditors have good commentary really?) plus some other good links about the cause.
