life really is what you make it.

whether you are in your 70’s or 40’s or even just starting high school you can always choose to make your life the way you want it to be. when you take a few steps back and realize I could have should have or would have. you have made a life of regret even if you were a straight A student and your parents adored you or you were the richest person and you had the best house and best job. you made your life something you wish you could take parts of and throw in the trash. of course everyone makes mistakes but it doesn’t mean that makes you who you are. don’t think of your life as a curse think of it as a blessing something you will only get to do once. Do what makes YOU happy not what everyone else thinks will make you happy.

Awesome stuff, so true.

But there’s one part that can really confuse a lot of people and have a very negative effect.
It’s the following:
“Do what makes YOU happy not what everyone else thinks will make you happy.”

-The main problem of a lot of people is… the things they think make them happy actually make them miserable. Instant gratification vs true passion. Most people live under the paradigm of instant gratification, things that immediately make you happy but quickly ends and then make you sad. Things that have no real value and drain your true joy.
Not only that, but it also makes you ridiculously easy to manipulate.

That’s why saying “do what makes you happy” will really make more people unhappy.

this is so true. for so long i have been a people pleaser and i do not have a decision of my own and all i did is to take orders and always take the opinion of the other people. that is so fucked up because i never know what to do with my life. but i trash all of that now and i dont even care what they say on how should i live my life and what career to take. the hell with them. i just say from now on i should follow my bliss.

You’re goddamn right..!

but i am more and more going in a direction: I think, telling us, that there is no life after death, is the biggest lie existing..
Nobody can tell, if or what is after death. and as long as it isn’t “proven”, you’re always be a “dreamer” if you beliefe in such things..
