Long weekend, what to do?

Álex Pimienta (@vertigen) 8 years, 10 months ago

This will be a long weekend in Mexico, since Monday is a public holiday. I’ve been thinking about what to do. I have the option to go visit my family (they live in a town a couple of hours by land from where I live, Guadalajara), but that’s something I do often even when there’s no holiday.

What I do know is that I want to get high and enjoy the free time, it’s been a while since I have this much chance to rest, I just don want to feel like I’m wasting my time in something that s not worth. I’m thinking about something adventurous, that would be cool!

Any ideas?

Mingle with the local populace. Express love. Incite love.
Maybe draw. Get a big sheet of Paper, some colored pencils, paint, whatever, and just draw what you feel. Draw it all.

@danfontaine, thank you.
Well, Saturday will be my creative day, I am more of a writer than a painter, so I guess I’ll do some writing tomorrow. On Sunday I’m planning to go the Huentitan http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=663220. It’s here in the city and I have never been there. On Monday I plan to watch some movies and see some friends. Let’s see how this goes.

@keepfloating, I definitely should go there, just don’t think I can make it this time. I’ll plan a trip there for my next holiday vacations though. Thanks for the suggestion!

@danfontaine, It is an island near Punta de Mita, in Bahía de Banderas (the same region as Puerto Vallarta), in state of Nayarit. I used to live near there. :)
