I’ve been coming to this website for awhile now and I want to thank everyone for sharing your opinions. We’re all working towards a common goal. I’m working on becoming a better person. See, I’m searching for my inner self but my ego seems to be getting in the way. I’ve taken LSD before on several occasions and plan on doing so again in the near future. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get the most out of my experience? My goal is to learn to love myself and feel comfortable as a human being.

*I plan on being by myself and in nature.

Hello Brady,

I suggest that you read the “Psychedelic explorer’s guide” from James Fadiman.
You’ll find everything that you are asking for.

Yours sincerely

Be careful if you are by yourself. swims first trip with LSD was alone and it went bad quite soon. Ended up with almost completely chopped lips and listening to selfhypnosis videos to get a feeling of talking with somebody. Not to mention all the crying next day. Although it was a meaningful experience, it was no enjoyable.

My first acid trip went pretty well, I wasn’t by myself though. I spent the majority of the trip talking with my grandma and mom on our front porch. I’ve done most of my acid in a car unfortunately.

Check out our latest blog post for some ideas. Meditation is great I think :)

Definitely check out the latest blog post and many others posted before that.

Some quick tips:
Go in with an intention.
Meditate on the come-up.
Spend at least 30 minutes during the experience to truly feel what you are experiencing through meditation/surrender.

Just be a kid :) and have no one near you that can judge you. Example- in a forest alone can be great. Or camping with a friend not near other people, or maybe do it at home with no one home for days- you can go for walks whenever too. Setting is 99% in my opinion. Otherwise-lasers, meditation, kick ass music, instruments, surrounded by nature.
