Mantras can be great tools to center and refocus, they’re one of my favorite mindfulness techniques as you can have a bit of fun with it.

i thought it’d be cool to start a thread to discuss some of the mantras you all use, and what they mean/do for you.

Myself, I’ve been using “the future does not belong to you.” It helps me get out of my incessant need to control the outcome of things. Plus, my ego hates it. Usually shuts it right up. If I can remember that things get so much brighter by staying in the present moment, life becomes much more manageable.

These feelings will pass. 

When a negative feeling comes over me I get myself to remember that its okay to experience it and then I tell myself to let it go when I feel ready.
