Hi there, I intend to meet my God Self visually (in person, so to speak, haha) through a heavy administering of a carefully chosen psychedelic (right now I’m stuck between pure lab-made LSD and Ayahuasca). My intention is to talk to him (her? it? me? the universe? lol) and figure out exactly what next major step I should take in forming my true calling. I have a vague premonition of mixing holistic health and art, but need help from myself.
The whole point is to try and help integrate my spiritual self with my everyday mundane self more fully. I have no problems when I can think to myself, but in the moment is where I need help the most. I want to touch bases with my Higher Self. This has also been known to have been called God Self, Christ Self, etc.
Who has similar experiences with this? Did it help you achieve your intentions? Did it change your life?
Just interested in hearing stories. :) I have read similar experiences from the famous @thomaschong, and would like to hear more.
i hate to tell you this my friend, but god.. doesnt exist… that “god” you feel when you die or hit when your peeking from lsd, is no more than your own thoughts conceptions and understandings unchecked and ungoverned by false stimuli in the real world, it is the rawest form of you, without having any false perceptions reflected upon you.. take psychodelics and you will see past the edge of the universe or stare deeper into your darkest self and get stuck.. no one can tell you they spoke to god..thats what they precieved, what they chose to believe was him or her.. you want to know what to do with yourself, go to the forest or desert, trip balls with your lsd or mushies ( i love those) or some cacti, and enjoy yourself.. let all of this material crap go, release yourself from all these chains of control, and relax.. you will tell yourself what you want..
ask a priest if they talk to god, and they should be commited for having dementia.. people dont speak to god.. if they did, alot more epic events would be taking place.. thats like saying im gonna do some mesciline and see if i can talk to the devil..
take religious deities out of the factor.. focus on you and what you want.. no god or devil is going to infest your soul.. only you are going to purge it and find what you want, or you are going to cancerously infect yourself with all these false perceptions and turn yourself into a creature of darkness…lol
no one can say they saw god when they tripped.. prove it!! seriously prove god exists first before you take a hallucinagenic that will give your mind whatever it needs to see and hear what ever you want..
“no one can say they saw god when they tripped.. prove it!! seriously prove god exists first before you take a hallucinagenic that will give your mind whatever it needs to see and hear what ever you want..”
Prove God doesn’t exist.
GOD doesnt exist.. there is no proof of him ever existing.. and if you say the bible, that was writen four hundred years after the death of christ, who i do think walked the earth and had a revolutionary way of thinking but not a son of a god, bible was based on the khoron, which was actually based on sumerian txt that states gods, plural came down from the stars and made man.. there has never been proof of a god ever existing.. so to think your gonna find him in foreign chemicals is absurd.. if you believe in god, you might as well tell me you still believe in imaginary characters like tooth fairy and that lion in waredrobe movie.. its all a lie buddy.. and if you believe him, ive got amazing beachfront property off the coast of neptune id love to sell you..lol prove to me he exists… everything else here on earth and in our universe we can explain through our exploration into science.. the real hard evidence of life and truth.. god is whatever you wana make it, but its not a floating self centiant being watching over you and i.. thats childish and naive
i dont recall science being a navigator on the pinto or santa maria boats a few hundred years ago.. thats very lame and ignorant of you to suggest that science “said” anything about the world being flat.. aristocratic men of nobility said and claimed the world was flat..
– In ancient Greece, doctors believed that the liver circulated blood, not the heart.
-Scientists used to think the atom was the smallest particle.
-Aristotle thought heavier objects fell faster than lighter ones.
Sorry, didn’t know you were a scientist. I also didn’t know we were name calling..
@heedthem, What you’re trying to do should NOT be done with using drugs like LSD, or any other drugs for that matter except for DMT (Ayahuasca), for DMT is the spirit molecule etc.. @the805nomad, was correct when he says there is no God, yet on the contrary there is. If you haven’t already come to realize it but you are God, I am God, every single person on this planet, every living plant, every animal, even down to the molecules that hold this universe together with all its laws, causes and effects is God. However, the question of God is highly discernible and up to interpretation to anyone who comes across it. You cannot base a spiritual journey that you wish to undertake by using drugs, that ideology is fallible and most likely will leave you in a head space with more questions than there are answers. Most people will state that there is absolutely no evidence of “God”, then again there’s no evidence to prove there is not. The “God” you speak of can be called many different things, “Buddha nature”, “Holy spirit”, “Spirit in the sky”, etc. What you are looking for, it seems, is your egoless self that is the Nature of Mind, the unbound less, un limitless, un fallible, state of mind. It is the true spirit you came here as being, free of the delusions and illusions this state of existence creates. In essence, you are wishing to learn how to die, how to become liberated from yourself, so that you can become yourself. Anything you perceive in your mind such as God or even passing away is a projection of your spirit self. A God in a mind of a person is a reflection of this projection, and essentially, you’re the projection as well as the one projecting it. Anytime a person believes they have been spoken to by God, is usually deep within their own mind without drugs, it just happens, “we see what we wish to see”. It is my advice to take in some knowledge about meditation for spiritual growth, as tripping LSD or DMT may open your mind to these concepts, it is the sober realization of being in a deep holistic state that connects you to your sky-like nature, and the pure force of the universe and your being, or God if you wish to call it that. I have been through what you’re about to embark on, and believe me when I say that a strong spiritual knowledge and practice is essential, or you’ll end up going batshit insane. It has been the most prolific and life changing experience of my life to find my higher self, I will never be the same ego-filled asshole I once was and it was all due to the choice to let go of myself, and fall face first into the unknown realm of the spirits.
Remember! Everyone will have their own experiences and interactions with their own idea and form of God, there is no use debating to someone that you’re God is suitable for them, because your God has been created by you, for you, ONLY, though this human experience we’re having is collective and we all come from the same place, we’re all perceiving this truth with an individually functioning mind and therefore must use it as personally as we can. Only can the people who have had this realization point out the general direction, not the specifics. You’re on your own, and always will be. Good luck, I hoped this helps.
Meeting? I’d say more like realizing you are God.
@adamm0ss, granted.. however.. if you look at facts.. millions of times more over you will find that while yes science will make initial mistakes.. but atleast you can trial and error them thru test and figure out what actually happens.. you can never do that with GOD.. you cant prove god cause you cant summon him like a pokemon, and you cant disprove him because theres nothing to disprove.. it never existed in first place..
yes ignorance was pro-dominant in earlier stages of development in science..renn period, colonial period ect.. yet we over look the fact that 6000years ago before your greeks or Aristotle when we were suppose to be uneducated tribes, mayans sumerians and egyptians were tracking stellar phenomenon before technological telescopes, knew about pluto before we found it in the 1930s.. yet we look at their cultures and creation myths they all say the same thing.. gods..plural came from the stars.. doesnt sound like one being sounds like aliens to me (which by the way has more proof of existing than god himself)..but aside from that.. my point revolves around the understanding and intelligence from humans thousands of years ago.. ancient cultures were smarter then you think or people give them credit for, and have knowledges and crafts that today we cannot duplicate..they knew then that the world wasnt flat.. stupid europeans thought that the world was flat..stupid europeans who thought it was smart to have sex with their own cousins, obviouslly that didnt work out for them either.. again not the smartest culture on the planet. .
I am open minded and understand how many believe in God, and how many don’t. I hear the reasons for both sides and they are both reasonable to me. Experience plays a huge role in what we believe and if someone has had a radical experience meeting “God” then that is proof enough. But I can hear the non-believer saying, “it is just a higher version of yourself that you are meeting!”
So what would you say to this little vignette… how would you explain this experience?…
A 3 year old child comes to his mother holding a New Testament and pointing to a verse saying, “Mommy, Jesus wanted me to show you this.” A few weeks later, his older sibling does the same thing – same verse, only a different Bible this time. Now, the mother is amazed and perplexed, because the verse just happened to be the one of Peter denying Jesus. For the past few months she has been seeing an unusual amount of pictures of roosters showing up in weird places, and she has been hearing the rooster crow in odd ways (a watch alarm, cartoons, movies, etc.)
One thing’s for sure; you can rule out coincidence. But is it God trying to get her attention? If not God, then what or who?
@the805nomad, Again, I never said God was some dude in the sky looking out for his homies. I have no fucking clue what God is, or isn’t. My guess, and a guess is all it is, is that God is everything; everyone and everything is connected. Guessing is all we can do. Your guess is as good as the Pope’s which is as good as my dogs. Nobody KNOWS shit. In 5000 years, my guess is we will be looked at as a bunch of uneducated, barbaric, money worshiping idiots. They may laugh at everything we currently see as ‘fact’.
@hypatia, ok lol.. first off.. edger allan poe wrote a story about four sailors who shipwrecked on an island, and after many many days they ate one of the weakest links, Richard Parker to survive.. and then mysteriously 46years later, it actually happened.. four guys went sailing and shipwrecked, and they had to do the same thing.. and guess what the mans name was Richard Parker.. omg? was he prophetic? was he a master of divination? no.. chance random percentage quark in reality.. whatever you call it it happens.. as far as your tale of the kid pointing to some quote in the bible, maybe it wasnt god, maybe it was the devil, or the wind, or something the kid saw on tv.. none of what you wrote proves god exists..i can pull out that out dated mellow drama flip to a random page and turn it into some ridiculous notion.. im sorry lol .. roosters?? cmon seriously? if you thought the number 6 was somehow significant, you’ll find that 6 everywhere you want to see it, you’ll start adding receipt totals to make 6’s.. its your head playing with itself because you subjected it too.. youve opened it up to see and hear 6 when ever you want it to.. the lady shouldnt take advice from her younger children.. she should go live life to its fullest extent.. on her death bed she can hope and pray to what ever she wants before death swallows her into absolute blackness and silence.. and guess what.. no one will ever hear from her again.. she wont be back to tell children to read passages in an outdated, over opinionated and highly edited book
@the805nomad, Sorry, I’m not going to lie I stopped reading after like the second sentence lol. I don’t mind whatsoever if you completely disagree with me, but I’m not interested in squabble going against something that won’t ever be changed within me. My boyfriend is an overt atheist (I would even venture to say an atheist activist) and a Physics major, and we have talked and talked and talked. I’m not interested in going over the intricacies of god theory and everything else in this thread. It’s literally a weekly conversation I have in-depth.
@zanelee, Hmm it’s an idea/belief of mine that I should carefully word. My belief system follows very much that of New Age and even has similarities to a few different religions. I believe in our lowest vibrational self (our physical body we know), and a higher vibrational self that exists on a higher plane than helps oversee our destinies, fates, and the in-between. I also believe all of us to be extensions of the Universe’s energy and we are all connected through a give and take of negative/positive energy. It would be more accurate to say I believe ALL of us are simultaneously God.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think I’m some superior being. It’s exactly the opposite. I think we are all equally powerful.
@heedthem, You kinda lost me at “belief system” there :p, but I must say I share a similar view of things. My level of understanding has reached a point where we are all “processes of the whole”. Kinda like that of those lyrics from John Lennon “I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.” I especially understood those lyrics after my tango with shrooms lol.
@adamm0ss, You should’ve stopped trying to argue with him as soon as he called you ignorant, moron, etc. He’s out to slit throats. I used to be exactly where you were placed now, extremely skeptical but open to possibilities. I have reach my far-fetched, crazy-lady conclusion after years (I’m talking since I was 13 dude, this is how long I’ve been trying to conquer this belief system I have) of personal experiences, hours and hours of thought processes and hypotheses forming in my brain. I can say with utmost confidence that I have experienced enough PERSONAL proof for me to know the Truth.
It is only a conclusion you can come to yourself. For me, this has been a nearly lifelong endeavor.
And it is even MORE recently that I was comfortable to call anything “God” because of my poor relationship with Christianity that I had for years. (I grew up going to church, stopped going and started questioning everything in my life at age 12.) For the longest time (and even most often now) I just referred to it as “the Universe.”
@zanelee, That’s okay, I’m fully aware of how outlandish my ideas sound. I’m very okay with that. :) But yes, once you trip, it’s pretty impossible to deny the entire “oneness” feeling you get. That is 100% of the time the explanation I get from people who have tripped on anything, new and seasoned. I have just taken it to an extreme xD
@hypatia, I think in your argument you still can’t really say that you can rule out coincidence. My bf listens to the Atheist Experience often and I listen to it with him, they explained a very nice reasoning as to why “coincidences” appear to be so. There is a different moment happening within every second, and there are thousands of millions of seconds in our lives. Our brains are computed to note repetition of things and things out of place. It only takes a repetition of 2-3 times for the normal person to consider something a “coincidence”.
Now don’t get me wrong, I believe 100% that the Universe brought that message to that woman for an extremely important reason that helped orchestrate the rest of her life. But, my point in saying all this is that sort of anecdotal “evidence” will never be enough to alter a scientific mind’s opinion.
@connerj93, I literally have already come to the conclusion of all the these things that you stated, except for the part where you say God doesn’t exist. I believe in all of the above, except I believe all of us to be extensions of the Universal source (aka God). I also believe there to be different vibrational planes, and that there are two main bodies attached to us – our lowest vibrational Self and our higher vibrational Self. I believe that little voice in the back of our head (literally, our conscience and intuition) to know the best ebbs and flows needed for us to reach the important destined milestones in our lives and provides us the most direct hotline to our Higher Self (also our God Self, etc). These are all extensions of the main energy source (the Universe/God), and are all directly connected to every other soul on earth.
Feel free to disagree with me, but I just didn’t want you to misunderstand what I actually do believe already :)
Don’t let people tell you “God exists” “God doesn’t exist”. They don’t know anymore than you. Why don’t you decide, or “undecide”
The smartest people from my experience say “shit man, I don’t know.” when confronted about this stuff.
