Consider the following: humanity is as a species has stopped evolving. There is no force that drives us to evolve any adaptations that we cant solve with some thought. For example, if it were a really cold environment the hairier people would survive and continue to pass their hairy genes. But instead humans would just create heaters, jackets and shelter to keep us warm. This happens on a mass scale leaving humans and mother nature at a stale mate.
Does anyone think its possible that our minds are still evolving and that humans are the “final form of life” on this earth. It seems that weve taken our selves completely out of the evolution only leaving out consciousness to evolve. Which considering the amount of information we are taking in a day that took people back then life times to achieve, like newtons laws for example. In one class period we learn what took a man his entire life to find out. We are gaining information exponentially and i think the next step for humanity wont be a physical change but a mental one.
Id love to hear your thoughts on this one guys. Looking to further expand my thoughts with some help
Okay, there is one thing about evolution many only a few people have got. We have removed all those evolutionary factors, and when those are gone they do not contribute to evolution. Immensly strong or hairy people do not have any great gain over other humans. But there are other evolutionary factors. Intelligence, social capabilities, making money, education and good looks to only name a few.
There is an interesting TED talk related to this subejekt, have fun watching it:
I’d say human evolution will be – as it has been for many years- of a more conscious nature than a physical. As we keep on expanding (and at this particular timing were taking a big leap in expanding) the thin slice of physicality will naturally follow up to keep being the perfect servant of the consciousness were perceiving, as it does now, and as it has always done, to us as well as other consciousnesses like animals.
