As I skimmed through the posts there us some great music being posted. Now to go back to page one and give them all a listen!
Florence and the machine – drumming song
Incubus – the warmth
A perfect circle – 3 libras
The Crimson by Atreyu!!…the lyrics are amazing
Have faith in me by A day to remember!!!!!!!!!!!
One man Drinking games by Mayday Parade…Brings back so many sad memories…but still love it
And there has definitley gotta be a better way for us to share music…so much left out here.
Yellow Ledbetter-Pearl Jam. One of the best songs I have ever heard I think. It is slow, sweet, and powerful. Learned to play the whole song because I love it so much. :)
Audren-Darkstone will shine. Great song, I heard this song on an old PS1 game and I remembered the song lyrics for over 8 years and found it one day on youtube.
Metallica- Fade to Black. One of my favorite songs of all time. powerful guitar solo and one
of their slow songs. I tried learning it and made it to the solo, but hit a brick wall there, lol.
Darkstone will Shine:
Fade to Black:
I’m surprised no one else picked at least 1 of these yet.
Measuring Cups by Andrew Bird (Live is better than the original. I’m actually obsessed with the version on Fingerlings 3)
Postcards from Italy by Beirut
Paper Aeroplane by Angus and Julia Stone
I think it’s really difficult to choose, I read this topic a few days ago and tried to think of any all time awesome songs, couldn’t come up with even just 1! Now I have found the songs I have a real great memory attached with, still hard to choose though:
Bob Marley – Redemption Song
CCR – Have you ever seen the rain
Editors – Bones
Asking myself which are my top 3 favorite songs of all time, considering my eclectic (sometimes trashy/bizarre/bipolar) music taste, is like asking Angelina Jolie which of her different-race/culture/ethnicity adoptive children loves more…
but, i think i’ll give it a try anyway :)
1. Bond – Shine (this is how i imagine my life background music sounds like)
2. Devendra Banhart – Santa Maria Da Feira
3. i was going to post Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody but it’s already posted, so i’m moving to my 4th favorite *cough*Abajo las reglas! Oh si!*cough*
Nicolo Paganini – Caprice nº5 (very dramatic although incredibly exquisite)
I just feel alive today…….consume life and discard the empty casing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
