Hey guys! I’m currently at a stage of renewal and personal growth. I am 20 years old and recently, my ex-girlfriend got diagnosed with the first stages of leukemia. I broke up with her a month ago because I simply couldn’t handle her. She has been unstable, well before she got the news of her being diagnosed. I had been there for her every step of the way, but my gut feeling told me that it was time to let her go. I do not need any criticism regarding as to why I broke up with her in such a stressful time but instead I am here to ask you guys if you can help.
I miss her dearly, and I’ve been wanting to suggest her to take mushrooms as a healing experience. With me or not, I want her to go through a journey so she can be relieved and more content with her current state. She has had previous drug experiences and has had her fair share of experimentation (marijuana, ecstasy, xanax, mushrooms) she almost overdosed on hydros in an attempt to commit suicide in the past. And for that main reason, I am not quite sure if mushrooms would be a good idea with consideration of her health condition. I want to know if this may be safe for her, or why it isn’t. And if it is safe, what guidelines should be followed? Please help me out! Much love. Thanks.
It must have been really tough for you since the moment she got diagnosed with this horrible condition. I find it admirable that you want to help. This is my heartfelt advice:
First, she needs to be the one that wants this (not you). If not for this initial openness, the mushroom experience won’t have the same healing effects. This article is a beautiful write up you can show her of the healing potential: http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2015/02/09/trip-treatment
You can also show her this video: https://www.highexistence.com/videos/view/magic-mushrooms-and-the-healing-trip/
Second, I am not entirely sure what the medical protocol consists of. Perhaps you can find it online. I feel they are trying to protect their research and therefore don’t include people who had attempts with suicide, but as I said, it could be otherwise. Perhaps MDMA is a more suitable medicine for her in this case. There are also some physical symptoms that exclude people from these studies, like a high blood pressure and strange heart rhythm’s. But, again, this could very well be to protect their research, and anecdotal evidence suggests these medicines are quite safe.
Third, setting and dose is of utmost important. If you want to go through with this (and I truly think it can help her, as your intuition suggests) read up on the studies and try to replicate the safety and harm reductions protocols. They are based on decades long psychedelic research. This includes who will be there for her etc. It will be best to find someone who treats patients underground, but finding someone is probably an impossible task. Next best thing would be to contact some of the researchers and ask their opinion. But, as someone who has been in contact with them and kinda knows the scene, not many would come out openly and help you, for risk to their position.
Let me know if you have any questions.
and go on a fruit fast. That “disease” will reverse. All she needs to to clean out and move her lymph system no doubt
I strongly doubt the cure would be as simple as taking a mushroom tincture and going on a fruit fast. I actually find it disrespectful to the ones suffering with this disease, as well as all the doctors and caregivers that give everything to find a cure.
Check out the video posted on the 5th called ” Magic Mushrooms and the Healing Trip”. In order for the medicine to have optimal effect the setting what takes place is very specific. This is for the benefit of the patient and the likelihood that the medicine will have the optimal effect. For the both of you, I sincerely hope it helps. Take care.
taking drugs is not a good idea it would be better to encourage her to give up drugs and start eating a healthy diet of superfoods such as blueberries, walnuts, almonds, flaxseed, fish oils, garlic, tumeric, coconut oil, pumpkin seeds, reservetrol, and practice meditation.
