Hi there. I have been reading Practicing the Power of now by Eckhart Tolle and have come across something that has me lost. Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to sense my inner energy field. I have been able to sense energy using the ball in hands method but haven’t been able to take it further. I sometimes have trouble with visualization, which may be part of my problem. If you have any tips, tricks or any input at all, it would be very much appreciated, Thanks!
“Quit trying to hit me and hit me”
But with, like, your inner energy and not hit but feel. I think I’ve got some trouble with always being right in the moment but I’m getting better, it just kinda took an effort, but not like a trying effort; try a doing effort (but don’t try, do).
What do you expect when you want to ‘sense your inner energy field’ ? You have probably created some idea or expectations of what you ‘should’ feel or what is ‘right’ to feel, but it is usually simpler than we think. Are you a meditator? I would advise you to meditate more if you are a meditator or start meditating when you are not. Find some kind of method that will bring you closer to yourself, meaning that you really need to take the time and effort to be with yourself. No television, no phone, no internet, no nothing, try spending some time to be with yourself. Just remember that it does not come easy and it is not a one time revelation, it is a dedication that takes a lot of hard work, motivation and patience.
Thanks for the response,
I came to a very similar conclusion after doing more reading. I am a mediator, even though I only started a couple of weeks ago. Ill make sure to work on meditating whenever I can and to keep finding lots of time for myself.
Thank-you everyone else for the positive responses, they were helpful as well!
i took an eighth of mushrooms and i was swiiiimming in energy. like an infinite energy pool. but thats no way to explain something to someone who is trying to figure it out with out drugs. physical art forms will bring us in tune. alignment comes and goes as our minds wobble in and out of being truly centered.
