Ok, so one of my best friends is a physics engineer currently studying in France and he developed a great idea. He has now entered a contest and needs votes to make his idea come true.
Basically, air conditioners and heaters spend a lot of unnecessary energy to cool or heat everything in a room when the only one who needs his temperature regulated is you. So he is developing a vest that will maintain your temperature constant at all times and in any environment. Inside or out.
Plus it will help reduce substantially CO2 emissions and it would be great for the environment.
Here is de video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpo-yRVQLag
The video is in spanish but its easy to understand since it has drawings.
If you like this idea please help my friend go to the next phase of the contest and make this great idea come true. The only think you need to do is like the video directly in the facebook page of the contest. It will only take you seconds:
https://www.facebook.com/INCmty this is the facebook page of the contest. Just click like where the video Omeostasis is, and done.
I think we should all support this kind of ideas, and your help would be much appreciated.
Thank you Heathens!!
@fpalazuelos1, Sounds like a great idea! I have not watched the video, but how does it work? What kind of material is it? Is it programmed with a chip or something? Will it be constantly measure our body temperature, our skin temperature, our brain activity etc? Are there no practical implications? Will it be comfortable to wear? Is it totally sealed of from any possible outside factors like wind? What about your hands?
Btw, this is a shorter way to like the video:
Thanks a lot!
@filipek, Hey Filip I asked my friend about it and this is what he told me:
“Look, right now I cannot share the specifics of how it works because I have not yet some kind of patent.. The only thing I was advised to show is what it will do .. But to answer some of Filips questions:
Yes, it will have a small computer that will be constantly measuring body temperature and react to always maintain the adequate temperature, it is completely safe to use, it is designed to be as comfortable as possible (thin and light), it will be sealed so that you are able to use it anywhere, and about the hands, tell him they are also going to be heated in some way.
The truth is I need to test my prototype and advance from there. Thank you very much for your help!”
No, it’s not a great idea.
Revolutionize your immune system.
@martijn, Thanks for the advice, I had not thought of kick starter but it surely is another great way to achieve his dream.. I sure hope he can make this idea come true!
@filipek, Thank you Filip, ill keep you updated on the project! ;)
@, Well, If your argument is that it is not a great idea because you can simply “revolutionize your immune system” like that dude, then that is not a great argument right there is it? I’d like to see you or any other average person try and do that haha.
I’ll tell my friend if he can do the same video explaining his idea but in english so that you can all hear what it really is about..
Thank you all for your replies!
@fpalazuelos1, actually Jordan did a thing with Wim Hoff where he and some other people at Valhalla learned Wim Hoff’s technique. Check out the link below !
Also how big is your friend’s vest system? If it’s thick or not very flexible/ comfortable people won’t be very inclined to wear it as opposed to turning on air conditioning or a heater. I’d make sure it’s not very encumbering or large or else it may not do well.
That said I fully support your friend’s idea and wish him the best of luck!
