On the road to success: ADVICE/RECOMMENDATIONS??

So here’s a much needed update, I recently have been doing very well in my life and I’d like to continue with good things happening and stay positive.

Unless, you have read my previous posts, I was lost in a maze of life, didn’t know what I was doing, had nothing to look forward to, and never really strived for success or happiness.

Now let me recall and say that I wash’t depressed, just somewhere between having symptoms of serious depression and being happy. When your’e on a road and have absolutely no earthly idea where your’e going? Yeah, thats pretty much what was going on with me. There needs to be a balance between the two, but I was in a very cloudy state of mind.

I was a freshman in college, living in a house all by myself, did nothing but smoke pot all day and barely went to class. Looking at my background, I was a previously good student with great academic stats in high school. Only failed one semester class in my entire high school career, was on my way to a presidents scholarship and good things were coming along. Until of course college happened, I was in a very lonely college town which was completely abandoned and with the wrong crowd of people I’d fit myself in.

I’m glad to say things have changed for the better, even though I did horrible academically in terms of my freshman year, but I’m staying positive. I’ve slowed down immensely with smoking pot, lowered my alcohol intake, and stopped having occasional psychedelic experiences even though I find those to be great. I started my own gym routine daily, and eat a healthy diet. I’ve moved back in with my parents, started interning for a marketing firm this summer, and work for an insurance agency, as well as looking forward to another internship this summer.

So this is when HEthens come in place, help me out guys! I need any and every possible bit of feedback, advice or suggestions on being an even more successful individual so that I can help others with my success story. I know I have a lot more to go before I consider myself successful, but I’m back on the road and so far its been going good!

Note: Some of my hobbies are, music, art, meditation, and being an entrepreneur. I am currently a Finance major in college, and look forward to it. Ohh, I am also 19 years old if that helps.

Well, good for you for getting back on track. I feel like before you help others with a success story you must first BE the success story. Being a success story means you made it, and right now you’re still on the journey. If you’re asking for advice so you could get to the end goal of success, I’d say keep doing what you’re doing. Deactivate Facebook, deactivate twitter, focus on being around positive people, keep up with your hobbies, and just keep doing well in school. Stay on this track and one day you’ll wake up at age 30 and have your own business and sit back in your office chair looking at the gorgeous view outside your office window, and then you’ll know you’ve made it. ; )

@mybee42, Much love. I very much appreciate the advice, simple, yet content and credential. I look forward to doing big things in life! Even though 30 seems like a good age, I figured why not be even successful at a younger age, I mean if you can tell me our human existence has made such accomplishments to where we can reach to the moon, anything can be accomplished! I hope my advice has made an equal impact as your has to me :)
