I’ve been interested in Internet Marketing for the past 2 ~ years and am just wandering if anyone here has success with this and earn a living this way?
Right now I’m trying to build a website to upload valuable content, videos, blogs, and just to build up a user base – How could this lead to possible income streams if I don’t display ads? (Not a big fan of advert income)
Anyone had success or failure?
Want to do this with an entheogen Q&A + Instructional blog
(Plant your own!)
But also have a consumer base for the “normal” horticulture + vegetable plants.
I need someone with web experience.
Is there really such a thing as passive income? You need to find what you’re good at, and still work very hard to generate an income off it. Whether you’re writing your own stuff or just uploading from different sources, plan to be more active than passive on your part.
This is hardly the economy to be paying for information, though. Especially when it’s all already at the tip of your fingers. Not sure how you’d live off it, but if it’s truly something you want to do I believe it will work.
The big question here, because we all want to develop income generating web sources, who the fuck can develop websites?
I can sense a HE web consortium developing from this thread; common web sources based on information, I feel we can all help each other, the issue we face is getting the foundations….
(Also the basis for this website – being word press + plug-ins, does not work for the ideas presented here. We need more dynamic tools)
@versai, Thanks man. By passive I mean to not get paid for time but get paid for content, which will be available even if i sleep or whatever I’m doing.
Rather than going into work and swapping your hours for money, I want to be able to work anywhere and the income will be based on the value I provide. I don’t want to create something and let it run itself, I want it to give me also a sense of purpose/sense of contribution. It’ll be a lot of work, but when you enjoy your work it won’t seem to be.
