Placebo outside of medicine?

There are examples of the placebo effect working outside of medicine.Like that story with the king and his army going to war.His advisor tells him to flip a coin, heads means he’ll win.The coin says heads and they win even with less soldiers in their army.At the end of the story it is revealed that the coin had heads on both sides.

Do you know of any examples, maybe in real life? I’d like to discuss this with you people.

in psychology this is called a self fulfilling prophecy.

i can’t think of any real life ones right now, the only thing that comes to mind is the basketball game in space jam where michael jordan gives them his “special drink” lol.
