Putting these bigger thoughts to use

Laura Nicole (@lauritanicole) 8 years, 1 month ago

My mind is an endless machine of thoughts and revelations. No matter what I’m doing, I always find myself thinking about the bigger picture. Questioning things. Examining life and searching for the underlying connections. And the more I begin to notice, the more I think about these things and concepts and ideas, to the point where it takes away from the things I need to do and I wind up feeling unable to use the thoughts for any purpose. So, I am at a point where I’m searching for HOW I can apply this knowledge, these thoughts and the endless revelations I have some use. To something that matters. Something that others can share and take part in and learn from, which in turn can teach me. Something rather than just keeping all of this higher thinking to myself.

How do you make use of your awakening consciousness and life revelations?

I think the awakening you resonate to others with your smile and presence is enough. Bringing that consciousness to the surface is definitely more welcome in some environments than others. I like to be in yogic communities and with children for that reason. Being honest about what is on your mind can easily weed out relationships that suit your interests.

Being honest about what is on your mind can weed out what doesn’t suit your interests. I don’t know if that was an honest mistake or you’re just nuts.

What’s the unit for measuring a thought if not emotion?

It’s kind of the same dilemma I have with philosophy. I’ll read some really thought provoking philosophical books and contemplate questions about destiny, the soul, and other interesting topics. But, then I don’t really do anything with the information I gather other than updating my own personal knowledge base. Most of the stuff I contemplate doesn’t really have any relevance to anything else in my life.

I’ve thought about making a blog or creating a youtube channel in order to apply or find some kind of use for the information I come across; share it with people and whatnot. Eventually I probably will, but only when I get the time to produce good quality content. I don’t want to do things half-ass – just make a couple videos or blog post and be done. I wanna keep the good stuff comin’.

Was thinking on why we keep just pointing at what is useful, efficient without looking at what it makes it so important, the “unuseful” and “pointless” things.

And about teaching it to other people… You just can’t. It’s a personal journey you know, most people learn it by their own way… if you want to teach it, you just need to reply to who asks about it, because (again) it’s a personal thing and not caring about it I think is just fine. It’s more important to try to teach morality rather than existencialism.

I dont know find a creative way of leaving expresional traces for other to discover in various of ways with purpose of what you like to enlighten people to feel or experience? For example maybe write a book with scriptures in the text, guidelines or turn to art, music? all types of verbal communication could be used as a tool to your advantage how you effectively expressing what you want others to feel can only you figure out? no?
