Back in high school, I was the epitome of nerd. For some perspective, I had to get waived into the computer science curriculum because I was too young to start the program as a Freshman. The teacher let me in when he had no idea that I was talking about Buffer Overflows..for some reason.
Regardless, I was also extremely socially anxious and didn’t do well with the ladies in the least bit. Sure, I had my moments, but overall, it just wasn’t a part of me.
Well, at least, until I learned to solve a Rubik’s Cube.
Haha yes! I am telling you that solving a Rubik’s Cube actually HELPED my confidence with girls. Rubik’s Cubes are badass, and yes, it’s possible to be a huge nerd and still be attractive.
I found the link to why it helped, and I wrote an entire article on it here: http://www.innergladiator.com/rubiks-cube-confidence/
I figured there’s gotta be a lot of other nerds like me out there who could use some help with confidence and girls, so this one is for you.

@feren6, At the school I went to in fourth grade the teacher gave us the option to learn the fail-proof steps to solving the rubiks cube instead of going to recess. So all these fourth graders would go around showing people how they could do it.. I of course forgot after a few years but my brother never stopped doing it.
