Saying a lot using very little. (Poem)

I just wanted to share this sampling from a poem my friend wrote. He is truly amazing at painting a beautiful picture using only a few words. This is one of the most powerful few lines I’ve read.

Her face is all the beautiful things there are no
words for
and her voice sings
even when she is sad
of all the flowers that can’t speak to the honey
bees
to the sun and the rain
to simply say, “thank you”

I doubt he would want the credit for writing, but let me know what you think.

It’s fantastic. I needed this. I can’t seem to get out of living in a bubble of irony and this helps to bear it.

@tentninja @shoeopener Thanks for your replies. I met him during a challenging time in life and he helped me see the world in a new way. I’m not sure of any deeper meaning of the writing, but I imagine it exists. It’s quite meaningful both literally and metaphorically. Unfortunately we’ve drifted apart in recent times, but the experiences I had with him remain.
