Taking Human Sexuality this semester and all class notes and text materials are conveniently located on my professors Sociology blog. Browsing the site in my free time is supplementing the Sociology 101 I didn’t take. Figured I could share and encourage others to share the resources their using to teach themselves. Any and all subjects welcome.
I learned business on my own after getting booted from college for not having my loan come in time. I did this by keeping my old text books and buying more used text books. I took correspondence highschool and university courses. I also used a lot of public government services, that loan money and set you up with mentors.
From there I started observing what other companies were doing and how I could potentially do it better and easier. (The key to a successful business in my understanding is just making things easier, or being better organized.)
After that I learned how to make a business plan, which taught me the most. Did this with the help of text books, free government services, mentors and google.
I also learn by taking up small jobs for little money, or for experience sake. I’ve done market research for other companies, social media campaigns, event planning and I even intern for H.E for advertising.
And now I can say my resume is slowly getting up there, have no student debt and I have obtained some pretty hefty business loans to get me started. :)
