Hi, so I just got into Lumosity and it would be great to do long term. The only thing is that its expensive, about 70 dollars a year for one person. But they offer a family plan thats 120 dollars a year for five accounts, that comes out to 24 dollars per person per year. I can afford that! So, if anyone’s interested in sharing an account, reply to this forum and we can get this ball a rollin ;D
Yea so I think that its one of those things that wont fix all your problems by its self, but its great in combination with other things. If you do other self expanding activities like exercise, meditation, etc it would be really useful. Personally, Ive just been using it for getting into the head space for doing homework so I can start busting it out ;D
I have one slot available if anyone is interested! $26
According to Wikipedia there’s no scientific consensus on whether or not brain games actually improve anything except the ability to score better on said games. Also, pulitzer-winning writer: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/elements/2013/04/brain-games-are-bogus.html?mobify=0
It really, really seems like a scam. But it may be fun, if you’re into that sort of thing.
@qualohuasca Thank you for awareness. I’ve searched and read some negative reviews. In the other hand I’ve tried Lumosity, and the games were fun and I felt good, I believe it increased my concentration… maybe placebo but I believe :). There are free alternatives too like http://www.cambridgebrainsciences.com/
