I’m a 16 year old from the USA that has never really written a legitimate letter to someone (besides birthday letters to relatives).
Sure, a text or a quick email can tell somebody a message. It’s a quick and emotionaless way of speaking. But often times we often are only talking about things which are worthless to both parties and/or are just small talk.
Donuts are great because they’re easy to eat because they taste good, but after eating too many donuts one’s stomach begins to hurt. Same thing with small talk. It’s nice because it’s easy to do, but after a while it just ends up with two people talking about a subject that they most likely don’t care about.
I really care about what’s going on in your life. And if you truly care about it then i would be great to hear and read about it. You know what? If you care about how your finger looks like a banana during a full moon, awesome. But the great thing about it is that both of us would be talking about stuff we both care about.
What do I like?
I like writing. I’m writing a short story right now and would love to ask your opinions on some passages. You wanna share songs, poems, art? Great. Dreams? Even better.
I believe that with letters, I can (and we can) connect to others around the world on a more intimate level.
Thanks for reading :)
