Temporary Love

I wrote a poem about temporary love in our generation. In my generation. Please tell me what you think :).

Temporary Love

• Observe me and take note
• For I am fleeting away
• The thing is, I’m on the same boat
• But that won’t make me stay
• I am easy to find
• So lonely, be not!
• You can leave me behind
• Or take what you want
• I am a kiss at two at night
• I am a text of hey
• I don’t really care if you’re alright
• I just want to play.
• I will make your heart sink
• But I will also give you hope
• I will make you think
• And momentarily help you cope.
• At the end of the day
• I am only a friend
• I will vanish away
• Because I have an end
• One day you’ll keep me…
• And you’ll rise above
• I’ll be something bigger, you’ll see
• I will be lasting love.
