New research has come to light that proves that, in addition to the brain communicating with all parts of the body, which is the existing idea everyone’s familiar with, the body communicates in equal magnitude with the brain. This is comparable to a conversation- the brain is not the only centre of “thinking”- in fact it is much easier to think of it as a system in which both parts receive and relay messages and signals. An example of this is when you receive bad news and immediately feel your stomach “drop” so to speak.
I find this very interesting as it seems in line with metaphysical ideas, and indeed modern physics as these both point to a being that is not separate from the world but indeed a paart of it- there can be no centre of cognition- rather just a being which is wholly thinking and doing. Does, I ask my fellow hethens, the idea of the brain being the thinking mechanism not seem a little archaic in his light?? And what new paradigms do you think this brings to lght?? interesting to ponder…
@iluvetingcrayons, are you saying like that when you feel pain for example. you prick your finger with a pin, then your finger tells your brain ouch.
that must be what they are referring to.
the body has its own knowledge and sense. and the brain is the computer that interprets it . we should listen to the body, and it will tell us right from wrong.
that gut feeling!!! go with it.
