One of the most beautiful songs I have heard lately is a remix of the theme song from Inception. Here’s a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se5NBKNcsy4

I love down tempo electronica, nothing better than some post party intellectual chillout music. Lusine is good, emancipator, and bonobo are some things to download if your into it. :)

the best part isnt even on this live version, but listen to Siamese dreams, the bang bang part is a trip

Brandon Phillips (142) (@brandonphillips) 9 years, 9 months ago ago

@Brandon To anyone who loves really deep, poetic, meaningful lyrics. Listener, La Dispute, Circle Takes The Square, and Have Heart have got some great tunes to make you think about the importance of life. And it will make you become a better person. Read the lyrics as you listen to the songs and it’s like an orgasm of the mind. If it’s not your aquired taste of music, at least read the lyrics to some of their songs.

Party Ben – Set Fire to True Faith (Adele vs. New Order)

Listened to it over 15 times this week. :-)

Jesusbob (34) (@jesusbob) 9 years, 9 months ago ago

@TheSkaFish, Have you seen the movie “Wild Zero” staring the boys from Guitar Wolf? I have no words that could possibly describe the awesomeness that is Wild Zero. A completely insane must see movie for anyone who likes ridiculous movies staring Japanese rock bands…

TheSkaFish (962)M (@theskafish) 9 years, 9 months ago ago

@Jesusbob, no, i can’t say I have. I used to listen to Guitar Wolf with my friend who is into punk rock and Japan, before he moved away. I’ll have to put that on my to-watch list!

TheSkaFish (962)M (@theskafish) 9 years, 9 months ago ago

Old school Less Than Jake, pickituppickituppickitup yea!!!!! Sound quality isn’t so good but they’re catchy. I feel that 3rd wave ska/ska punk is like some kind of musical fountain of youth.

@trek79, ah, you were so lucky to have been a teenager when Siamese Dream came out! My personal fave off that CD is Hummer. What’s yours?

Jack (21) (@jackflash) 9 years, 9 months ago ago

@theskafish, Dude, Hummer is MY favourite song off Siamese Dream! It’s probably my favourite Smashing Pumpkins album…partly because my (dad’s) copy of Mellon Collie got ruined because as a little kid I used to throw it all around the place hehe

Ray Butler (1,423)M (@trek79) 9 years, 9 months ago ago

@theskafish, haha, I was actually into Pumpkins before siamese dreams, I’m such a hipster. I loved the song Mayonaise at the time, Hummer is awesome, I also love Geek U.S.A and Rocket.
