The Highs and Lows

Ok so recently I’ve started to really be happy and this has lasted for almost 2 weeks now, but im starting to hit a low it feels like and im insantly back to same depressive state ive been wasting my time in… and i am so fucking TIRED of it. This high in my life is meant to last, i can feel it; its just up to me to cause a shift in my perspective.

So this is what im gonna do, I gotta write down everything in my life that gets me “high” so i can do those things constantly to force myself into that high state of mind.

I also have to write down all my “lows” so i can take a step back and look at whats making me miserable, then completely cut all of it OUT of my life.

This is one technique I came up with that may help you or not at all, i can post updates to see if its working. If anyone wants to suggest other methods of regaining control of your mind, for the love of god, please post them!!!

It’s kind of like programming yourself in a sense. Whenever you feel a low vibe coming on, you have “triggers” or… shots of inspiration that bring you back to a better mindset. I think it’s a good technique.

Hey Charlie, i suggest you start doing 3 days some 100-200 push ups each day( not in one go, you can do sets of 50 or less depending on your capability) and then resting 3 days, do this for a few weeks. Try to listen to high energy songs while doing these push ups, believe me nothing like push ups and good music can make you feel “high”.

– Don’t masturbate for a good few months, its going to be hard, but worth it, trust me it motivates you in so many levels, and not just girls related stuff, you start enjoying life more.

– Force yourself to be “high” all the time, and it will become a part of you, tho i dont advice this method.

I hope this helps you, tho understand that in life you will never be always high, and if you don’t have lows your body can’t send these happy interceptors which then make you happy, its like when you cry because you’re really sad and then suddenly you start laughing.

Eat healthy, work out, and meditate!! The dopamine levels in your brain might be off balance and refocusing on making not only your mind but body healthy might correct the drop in dopamine!!

People do not realize that a lot of people are depressed because of hormone imbalances and over all poor health!! If you start to feed your body the nutrients that it needs and exercise your body will start producing more happy hormones.

I also have had trouble with depression in the past and mediating twice a day helps me focus my mind in the morning and then again right before bed!!

If that doesn’t work I would engulf yourself in a lot of what people are talking about on here and learning how to let the negative pass through you and not take it on and hold it!!

I am really sorry you are feeling this way! I know depression holds on to you like chains around your neck!

turn the confidence switch on somewhere in the deep abyss of your mind. its an electrical breaker that trips and needs to be turned back on. set up camp where the grass is green.

i guess what im trying to say is that confidence is a choice. whether we are on the up or the down, the choice of being confident wards the debilitating onset of anxiety/and or depression.

even if your a piece of shit, and should feel like a piece of shit. making the choice of being confident will help our brains work – and potentially allow for creativity (and maybe even the opportunity to rationalize why your a piece of shit with more efficiency to later lead to strengthening moral fiber).
