Hello everyone,

I figured that there are probably a few people going through tough times like me.
Whether it’s personal problems, or a goal you’re trying to reach but for which you are starting to lose the motivation, this post should be for you!
Let’s all share movies, videos, songs, books, pictures or any “stuff” that inspired us to change!

Let me start by a few videos:
1-Complete Secrets to Success! How bad do you want it?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xM_7j6t9IyU&feature=related
2-The Day That Turns Your Life Around (Jim Rohn)

followed by a couple of songs:

1-Anathema: Everything

2-Anathema: Angels Walk among us
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYzZpDw9yjM
3-Anathema: A simple mistake

I know there’s a lot of Anathema! But I can”t help it! they’re the best!

@kidvisions, Anathema. Excellent choice. Going to see them in November in Leeds (England). Beautiful band.

As for the videos, I will watch them after work. Great post and great thread, although I’m sure there’ll be similar threads on HE.

@briggs22, Awesome! Anathema really rock! I saw them with my boyfriend, the only time they came to our country!

This is Economics 101 by Peter Joseph. I know, sounds pretty dull but it could definitely be motivating and life changing. It’s about values and money.

@kidvisions, And which country would that be? Anathema have the tendency to make you lie down for an hour purely to listen to their music and lyrics. Dream Theater have that too, especially with their album ‘Scenes From A Memory.’

@kidvisions, the third book from “his dark materials” trilogy, the amber spyglass. i read it for the first time when i was approximately nine, and there is still two chapters where i always get these weird tingling at the back of my head and goosebumps in my arms…
i think it really did change me, because now that i look back, i wonder how would i have grown up without the knowledge it’s all going to be okay after all, no need to worry. and the only answer i can come up with is that i would have become a “drone” ( kinda like the mindless grey people in the background, they must be someone but that someone is not their real them, only a shell.) boy am i grateful i had to beg on my knees for that book.
