"They" want to divide us.

Mike Glass. (@dogsarebadpeople) 9 years, 6 months ago

The truth is, the current powers of the world want to divide us. Call them what you want, (bankers, government, cabal, illuminati) whatever you feel fit.

“They” want to divide us.

Black and whites.
Male and Female.
Democrat and republican.
Homosexual and hetero sexual.
Christian or Muslim.

but this is only a distraction, together as common men we are stronger than the greedy “1%”

Society has a pyramid structure… many think the power lies at the top. But if we common men (lower stones of the pyramid) remove ourselves from the bullshit pyramid, it all comes down,

Let us set aside our differences, uniting under a common cause of freedom.

Its more of a compartmentalization of our thinking patterns, that’s how brainwashing is done, plain and simple.

can you elaborate?

@dogsarebadpeople, Exactly! Sadly what a lot of people are blind to is how the government and the media are currently the same thing. Unless you actively go and look for other opinions you’re not going to be told anything other than who the ‘bad guy’ is. Divide and conquer. Simple as.

I saw a really inspiring photo (can’t remember where but I’ll try and find it) from the uprising in Egypt last year, and there were a group of Christians all holding hands and protecting a group of praying Muslims. An image like that gives me hope. I do believe there are more and more people out there who are thinking like us.

This. “Divide and conquer,” after all.

We’re all human, and that’s the only label we need. If people could truly see that, unity would be possible.

In your head you have emotions and thought or imagination. depending on your emotional state your thoughts will vary. Thoughts that have been put into a ‘happy’ folder will be accessed when your in a good mood, whereas if your in very freightend or fearful time, your brain will process the information another way. Your brain really is a biological computer and functions can be programmed into your head via compartmentalization. The Media knows this and they use it to their advantage.

think about it…. in the event of an actual crisis situation the normal fear based reaction is not to run to safer area, for most people the first move is to a television to find out the proper measures that need to be taken. When you have natural instinct why would you need to follow a plastic box for directions??? They have changed our thinking patterns so that we need to know exactly what were doing before we start doing them.

That’s a fairly shitty way of describing it, but in reality in a little too high to be thinking this hard. do your own digging because its really the only way to truly understand anything. hahaha if you have any questions ill be happy to answer them when im sober in a few hours…

I think separation is a natural consequence of the money system. I really doubt there is some ‘Illuminati’ group that steers the world and attempts to separate us. We have done that to ourselves. Politicians and governments are just as inept as any one of us (if not more). I think we’re giving them too much credit.

DaJetPlane (994)M (@lytning91) 9 years, 6 months ago ago

@jordan, I believe that you are correct in your assessment, but I had this one guy I worked with (an obvious conspiracy theorist) tell me about how the entire world was ran by an elite group of 2-3 families who were above presidents and governments and everything.

I listened patiently and then went about my day, not really sure what way to approach him with the opinion that what he said was basically impossible.

@thegouj, I understand now what you’re trying to say… That is a good point about the people rush to TV’s in an emergency… What you’re saying seems to be similar to subconscious programming. Movies seem to be full of that shit when your looking for it.

@jordan, you may be right that there is no Illuminati… it all may be a fearful speculation. I just encourage people to take that step & keep learning. None of us know all the answers, but damn we can keep learning… gain an awareness that what we have been fed in the media & the history books is not always truthful & as more of us awaken, we can come together & really make changes.

Rob Goughnour (9) (@thegouj) 9 years, 6 months ago ago

@jordan, I don’t recall anything being said about the Illuminati in my post. The Media uses compartmentalization to keep viewers hooked on watching. All any industry really wants is profits. If they know the psychology behind it, than its no different than tobacco companies adding extra chemicals to keep you hooked on their brand. however, this is another face of the same coin.

I agree with Jordan; we are giving them too much credit. and after all, they’re only human; what can they do that we can’t? if they have money and power, we have brains and we have people, lots of people.

we outnumber them easily, and what would happen if there was some form of unity between us? Imagine what we’d accomplish. They just need to know that we know, and we care. If we just sit around, not showing those politicians and governments that we care, they’ll just continue treating us like we’re mere pieces in their games.

and for @dobbyfisher and @siantastic , here:

@dogsarebadpeople, Hi! I totally agree with you here, and I’m glad to see that some people think the same way I do (it can be hard finding them :p).
The problem here has got a name, and it is “society”. I don’t mean that the principle of society is wrong, of course it isn’t, but OUR society today is making more harm than good to the world. They divide us as you say. I would even add that the biggest division is rich vs poor, based on white/coloured. It has been the case since ever! Why the hell would a continent as Africa stay that poor even today??
There are like one thousand financial helps for African countries made by the governments of our countries (I mean the western world). The country where I am living now, France, has colonised countries all over Africa more than one century ago. When the people fought and won independence, the leaders of France put dictators at the head of the African states, so that European colonies can still do whatever they want in Africa, and have many discounts on trade and raw materials.
They give money (financial helps) to Africa but it is those dictators that they put in place that get all the money. And you know what? They all are corrupted there. Where are we going to?

By saying that, I mean that the actual and current situation of the world (its poverty, its wars, etc) did not happen by chance, some influential people have made it that way through time, in order to keep their interest first….

But here we are, fighting against them, telling them no, that they can’t just ignore one part of the world like that! No, they can’t divide us (even though most of us have been trapped…). LET’S KEEP IT LOUD and with a big smile :D

No ‘they’ don’t. Everyone wants to get to the top, besides very few individuals, many of which are on this site. And a lot of people who hate the government and people in it are the ones who secretly would take money and power in an instant, they just aren’t smart enough to get it and they’re pissed about it. So what do they do? Blame someone else. It’s pretty easy that way. And the people at the top are just smarter/more cunning than everyone else. But there are also some good people in government and business. It’s a self replicating system where we are taught what to believe and what to strive for, and the government officials, politicians, businessmen and whoever you think ‘the man’ is are just taking advantage of the system they were born in to. It’s not the people, it’s the system.

If you turn it into an “us vs. them” issue what is that solving? You can’t even be sure that there is a “them,” and a lot of the “us’s” are just spoiled kids who are mad they couldn’t get a job.

This sort of the thing always makes me uncomfortable. The first speech and then everyone agreeing on and on reminds me almost of some sort of hate-race rally. I am almost positive you don’t mean to, but the language used hints towards hate… even violence. It’s sorta scary.

I lean heavily towards Jordon in this. I don’t think there is a select group of people who control everything that goes on, who can so easily control an entire society and through it our minds. Though, I suppose there could be people who believe they are.

And whole ” Illuminati” thing doesn’t.. Whether or not you actually mention Illuminati in your post or not, when you draw such strong lines. When you say The Media or even ” They”, you summon images of the Illuminati without a doubt.

There are definitely little seeds of truth to what everyone is saying. Yea, pretty much all the media in the world is owned/controlled by a select few entertainment corporations. And honestly, beyond a doubt they abuse their power. But keep in mind, these companies are gigantic, spawning (hundred?)thousands of people.

I don’t think all the problems of humanity, even cultural and social “brainwashing”, are orchestrated by single ( or even many) people.

I see discussion about this everywhere.

But there’s something that you people miss, something VERY VERY IMPORTANT that has to be realized if humanity can evolve to the next level of understanding:

When you call “them” “they”, YOU have made the division.

There is only WE.

[Hidden]
Dominika (55) (@dominika) 9 years, 6 months ago ago

so youre saying that the 1% is trying to divide us? well we’ve divided ourselves into the 99% vs the 1%.
overall, these labels are just descriptions rather than divisions. It depends on how each individual person sees it. some may feel divided by these labels, others may just see them as simple descriptions. its really all up to ourselves whether we let ourselves be divided. no one is trying to divide us. We’ve divided ourselves

[Hidden]
The_truth_is_ (91) (@sirensetmefree) 9 years, 6 months ago ago

@dominika, I agree with this.

The divisions exist, and the titles come after. Plenty of times have I studied something like Descartes, come to a conclusion that contradicts his works only to find out that someone else had already come up with it and there is a title for it. Now, I belong to this group that I agree with, but that doesn’t mean that group went out of their way to “divide” me from Descartes. Same applies to government, ethnic issues, religious beliefs, or anything else.

We draw the lines after we step into groups. We divide ourselves. Even my parents, who think the US and white people are so much better than Mexico and Mexicans, are going to go back to Mexico when my sister graduates from college. We hate instinctively. We divide ourselves. Media just shows us how clearly we’ve drawn the lines.

I think that there will always be division. No matter what we do or what we become. If you look at it this way if we ‘fight the power’ of the division there will also be opposers, thus creating more division. I myself wish there was a way to stop the hatred and division but I don’t think we will reach that point in our lifetime. All we can strive for is acceptance.
