Thoughts About Why God is the Alpha and the Omega

Hi everyone, I’d like to share a diagram I’ve just created about why God
is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, it’s the third
section and relates to the two above it:

thanks for sharing, Justin. honestly some of the links you’ve shared seem a bit hokey to me, but to each his own.

i think the metaphor of the Alpha and the Omega is kind of an ironic characterization of God because it implies limitation, a beginning and an end. I’ve always imagined God, or Tao, or whatever your metaphor for the nameless mysterious all, as eternal/infinite.

It’s my pleasure Jordan!  It’d be interesting to hear which ones seem hokey to you, a lot of them I’m sure are sourced from higher dimensions, some like the subject-based ones I add what I can find.

I agree that God is infinite, the beginning and the end are actually theoretical descriptions of the infinite, I explain this in the “Theory of Everything” section.

I didn’t look through all of them, admittedly, but for example the link to the lady who claims to paint portraits of people’s souls. The art itself seemed inspired by fantasy films. I can’t help but be highly skeptical of someone who claims to paint a soul portrait, I guess.

Oh, that’s understandable.  What I’ve learned is that this is what spirituality is really about, fantasy, legends, anything to do with magic, this is how life is like in the higher dimensions, lots of light, life energy, and meaning.  I’m a believer, though yes you have to watch out because some things are fraudulent, but intuition can guide you.

To think in linear terms the Alpha is the beginning and the Omega the end, but if they are the same there is no beginning or end, it is just a cycle of renewal or change. In this sense you can place Alpha or Omega at any point and it would be valid as there exists no objective point of reference to measure their location, we could only go by local points of reference such as the speed of light, mass, human perspective of experience, and they would be valid relative to how it applies to us.

Well, to be clear, God is the Alpha in that everything emanates from Him, and the Omega in that everything evolves towards Him, the most advanced Creators (Alphas) are the most evolved (Omegas), we’re evolving (Omega) towards our origin and source (Alpha), God.  This is theoretical because Creation is infinite, there is no final individual being called God, there’s always something more, so God is the theoretical infinity, this is the reference point.  Any finite being or point comes from a prior source (Alpha) and progresses towards a future evolution (Omega), and can’t be said to be the Alpha and the Omega.  Though existence is cyclical, it also progresses in an overall direction, it’s not just about running around in circles going nowhere.
