Okay guys I found this website while i was in india with my mom having the time of my life and before i had left for india i was dead set on doing Acid and just allowing my consciousness to grow. I have taken a note book and written a kind of fill in interview for myself to complete as i experience my journey and I plan to listen to the new daft punk album and that album even listening to it now fills me with a joy that is legendary and it reminds me of wonderful times with friends so i know i will enjoy that but is there anything else i should try to do to have an enjoyable trip I will be tripping with my Friend peter who has identical beliefs as me and i trust and love very much as a friend. Today is the day and i was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions maybe for activities or questions to ask myself. Thank you :D

@hugnikolas, Good luck! I envy you, nothing like the first time! I suggest take the time to prepare a day ahead of time with food, camping, and meditation.

Make sure you drop in a comfortable environment. I prefer to drop in nature as the sun is rising- far enough from people that I can shout top of lungs freely without worrying who can hear. I usually hike with camping gear and set up camp for the day in an amazing place with scenery and wilderness to run around and explore. I also like to drop at a sick show but for spiritual exploration, nature at sunrise is the way to go. Bike rides are great too! Experience freedom!

Day before: Eat plenty of alkaline healthy raw foods. Avoid cooked or processed foods. Try to be super hydrated. Avoid caffeine and other substances that drain you seratonin, dopamine, and adrenaline.. the LSD will do a perfectly fine job with that. Plan out where you will camp for the day and how you will get there. I plan to arrive at my location before sunrise. Pack everything you will need to enjoy yourself and explore: art supplies, music, instruments, drums, hackey sack, etc. Also pack healthy snacks, and dinner/munchy food. Feel free to meditate or any rituals at this time. Traditionally, a Shaman might have you write out your intentions, what you plan to get out of the journey or a list of questions you would like to ask the cosmos. Remember, Einstein and Tesla would do this kind of thinking as they are falling asleep ;).

Morning of Journey: A sort of fasting is worth it. Imagine being super in tune with your body, the less energy your body is using to digest food, the more energy is available to use in your trip. This helps feel light, happy. I do suggest eating plenty of organic citrus fruit for the vitamin C and continue drinking plenty of water.

Once camp is set up, and you have nothing left to do.. drop the L. Take a little time to meditate before during and after on your intention- what you want to get out of the journey and visualize the best possible outcome. Breathing exercises or any of your favorite practices to center the mind and body are great ways to align yourself and get the most out of it.

I practiced this yesterday:

Ji Ben Qi Gong 基本氣功 (Fundamental Exercises)

I might even take a nap in the early morning sunlight while I wait to come up. Whatever will assist the bond between you and your tripping partner .. for example sex if its with a romantic one.

Onset/Duration of Trip: Once you are fully off – 2 or 3 hours in, past the peak, eat light food. Nearing the end of the journey (8 hrs+) you will have the ‘super munchies’ and you should eat whatever you want, bliss :). Dance, Jump, run, explore. Whatever your heart desires. Be creative, you hopefully will have taken enough of the drug for a full blown ego collapse and the world will feel as if you are experiencing it for the first time! Every activity will be pure bliss, you will feel as if you are 4 years old. Practicing visualizing the third eye, day dreaming, with all the senses, etc. Whatever you imagine will feel more real than waking life!

In sum, any combination of the above is ideal. For example, if you dont have nature to explore, set up a similar environment and space. Make a ritual out of it. My best experiences have always been when I follow the above plan to the T.

Warning: be careful that by noon its not completely smoldering hot and you have to leave. A comfortable environment and mindset is key so plan ahead as much a possible. Remember there is no such thing as a bad trip.. there is only a negative attitude or reaction. Feel at ease and gratitude to be alive that you can have any positive/negative experience :)

Let us know how it goes or if you have any other questions.

Blessings

all about set/setting. be comfortable. approach the trip with an open mind and be ready to have a good time and learn. whatever happens in your trip just embrace it. no fighting.

meditating beforehand is helpful too, go into the trip with intention and you will get something out of it.

Also, a trip report is great to write during your trip and/or while coming down, as many lessons can be easily forgotten. If you write stuff down, you can reflect upon them later. I tend to take a few notes throughout my journeys. Have fun :D

@heavydreamz & @avernus Thank the both of you. your good vibes and the pre-knowledge that you are giving to me are allowing a glaze of well being and excitement rise within me. I have just come to find our that my friend that i am tripping with will be getting off work at 8 pm and that is when we shall embark on the journey, we have a very safe neighborhood that has a huge parking lot is a large circle and has a historical monument that is a cabin that thomas jefferson used so we will be traveling around there and eventually end up in my basement where we will have time for introspection and also time to listen to music and chill and meditate. I am so happy right now its awesome and life is so awesome.

@hugnikolas, Have fun! It’s nice to plan out a trip a bit but remember that life is spontaneous and if you are called to change plans, change plans. Just go with the flow and let it be. :)
