Top Brain/Bottom Brain theory

Take the test on the website and learn something potentially true about yourself. It’s a simple test, but has interesting implications.

Bottom-brainer here, by the way, which I suspect many Heathens (do we still call ourselves that?) are too.

I have no tendency for either… I have no brain?
I got “adapter” meaning its highly context dependent and I am open to being absorbed by both modes.

I like to learn about different modes of thinking but sometimes I feel personality assessments are clung to because people want to feel they have a unique style that is also completely validated…. errrbody here knows the habitual mindscape isn’t set in stone… if only we could reprogram at the dance of a jig!
The adapter description basically says “someone that doesn’t know what is going on and has no plans” haha

I got the same. Personality assessments are a product of people’s way of dreaming. Never too much and never too less, not being out of your order (otherwise you may really develop a personality disorder). Boo!

I’ve had similar thoughts regarding personality quizzes; they are just a means of trying to make sense out of the infinitude that is human consciousness…and fun. It is only pop psychology, after all.

Assuming nature really did design humans with the 4 classifiable thinking styles mentioned in this test, I’m sure the adapter is just as vital a part of the team as any other type. No sweat!
