US dollar no longer world currency

This isn’t something thy has already happened so don’t freak out, yet.

This video talks about something that’s very scary for the US, and something which would likely reduce us to a 3rd world country. China, Japan, Brazil and others looking to remove the dollar as main currency and move to using the Euro, Yuen or something similar. Has anyone else heard of this? Thought what it would mean for the US and the world?

Also this guy Escobar says 2020-2030 is when it will happen because it won’t happen overnight. I heard from someone else that mentioned this that it could happen overnight. Can’t wait to hear some responses.

” feel whoever makes it into office next needs to sit back and say “If we were at square 1, day 1, throw all laws out the window, forget about all the lobbysits and special interested groups.”

That’s exactly what Obama did. He ran on a platform of inclusiveness, cooperation, non-partisan problem solving, moving forward together for the people not the special interest groups. And the first thing the new Republican caucus did is declare that their number one priority was stopping any plans Obama suggested.

Not “make this nation great” not “get the policies we want in place even though we’re the minority party.” They set out to blow it up, to just be a protest party for 4 years (and now 4 more years.)

So, I agree with you. But the practicalities of that seem more difficult than ever.

@sandman, He may have ran on those terms but that man has continuously lied to the american people. Two specific things I can think of right now. One being that he mentioned he would be attacking medical marijuana dispensaries, yet in 5 years he has shut down more than Bush did in 8 years. He also mentioned that his new plan (during his state of the union upon being re-elected) that his new budget plan wouldnt cost the American people anything. Immediately after the white house fact sheet showed his plan adding billions, tens of billions actually to the deficit. He lies and people believe him, so hes just another lying politician.

No doubt the republicans have made it hard for him to pass legislation, but looks what happens when it goes through, its a fucking disaster like Obama Care. That bill has more holes than swiss cheese. They had at one point, the Monsanto protection act added into that bill somewhere (since removed i believe after it outraged citizens), its just insanity the shit that goes on behind closed doors. Half the time the jargon on the bill is so easily manipulated 10 different people can interpret something 10 different ways.

@reinvented2012, I know. My opinions have already been said above. I’m also an americunt by the way.

“I think all we need is someone in power that will not be controlled by the conglomerate and someone that listens to the people.”
This has been said for decades and decades. The people who have earned the power to stand for it get silenced or even murdered. I also think our current president has his hands tied. I’m not tearing down your ideas, I’m just making a historical observation.

If anything, I think progress would come only if enough people self-start unique grassroot campaigns nation wide, or anything close to that just to basically bring people together. Because then politics wouldn’t be so black and white, as they paint it on mainstream news.
A great example is Occupy, it isn’t much now, but it has earned it’s name. Glenn Greenwald is starting his own media outlet pretty soon. The small things like this gets me excited. It doesn’t have to be big, because a combination of a lot of small ones will be overwhelming.

Yeah I agree. I believe this raise in mass awareness can’t be stopped. But we are still going baby steps and the great monster is doing leaps.
