Want a real discussion?

I have never really participated in online/let alone created a “discussion” but since high existence tends to be bang on with what i think about day to day with the articles/thoughts/philosphies/ideas they produce I was expecting to come across an exisiting discussion that i could get involved with about topics like; the universe, travelling the world, realisations had during various psychedelic trips, paradoxes, whether we create our reality/ how much our environments shape it – real stuff. But the only ones I’ve come across tend to be about whether to get a tattoo or realtionship issues – seriously?

If you want that kind of discussion, why don’t you start one instead of complaining… seriously? :)

I have and was also just expressing my views on the others which I’d come across at the same time – killing two birds with one stone

I think this is a valid point. I’d personally like to see more discussions on larger philosophical topics like existentialism, personal life philosophies, Aristotlean happiness vs. Zen/eastern happiness, how the increase and tech and decrease in religious practice is influencing human values, among other things. I plan on starting some discussions like this, so follow/pay attention to my posts Kayleigh.

I’m into Taoism personally, I’d like to learn more about existentialism and aristotlean happiness as I’ve not heard of either of them until now – enlighten me?

Exactly! I just joined yesterday and had the same expectations only to find there were unrelated discussions. Maybe I can start some myself… care to join?
