What do you guys think about David Icke? I’ve been listening his lectures now for a couple of weeks. I did not yet listened the parts about the Reptillians and the hollow moon! Only hours of lectures about the global conspiracy and the nature of reality. Please only comment if you really listened a/some lectures and not only a minute video. I say this because i’m curious, what are your thoughts about David Icke. Everything he says sounds so true supported with good arguments and evidence. It really feels like I start to understand how the conspiracy works and how the esoteric knowledge has been suppressed and why. But first I whant to know what do you guys think about it. SO LET ME KNOW I WHANT TO HERE YOUR THOUGHTS!
There is TONS of videos of different conspiracies that can make you feel that way. Take a quick look over the related videos and will find lots and lots of videos that say the same things, or different things that contradict other theories. I know what are you looking for when you ask people for their thoughts about it, you want someone to prove it wrong or right, but you gotta do that by yourself.
Most of the uploaders of these conspiracy videos on Youtube use some tools to grab your attention and hook you to their THEIR theories, like saying it is ‘The Truth’, it has been surpressed by years and now HE is showing to you, it’s all about getting attention. If it has been surpressed for years, that video wouldn’t be an exception. If one of these videos starts with an Ad, you can pretty much know what is it all about.
I am pretty much sure there is some good conspiracies around that really deserves attention. These kinds of conspiracies, hollow moon, reptillians, etc, always makes us project an external element, a elite group that is controlling everything, that we put the blame for everything on them. We need to take our responsibilities, instead of putting it in someone, it’s the same as saying ‘I don’t to think about that, it’s not my fault’, when it actually is.
I agree with a lot of what he talks about, but I do not believe in his “Reptilian Overlord” theory. He has not once given any hard evidence to support it, and it sounds way too similar to the plot of the TV show “V”, as well as the plot of the 1980’s movie They Live, and even sometimes like the plot of the Super Mario Brothers movie. I was also very turned off by the fact that he once claimed to be the son of God on live television… But aside from all that, I think the man is brilliant and usually worth listening to.
Here are a few of my favorite videos containing clips of David Icke speaking:
Easy to blame it on reptilian overlords
The harder reality to face is that this world is not all good. people arent motivated by good. people care about themselves. the things that drive us is a game of power, sex ,and money. and maybe thats all it is. and there are some people who are born into it. some who manipulated the system long ago. and they will be the ones winning for generations to come, as the poor try to delude themselves with reptilian videos, whilst david icke gets rich from the book sales he makes and video views.
and some who starve to death or raped to death in an african shithole. thats it.
reality can be harsh . we all die.
@joost20, Some of his theories are a bit crazy but they’re fun to contemplate. I do agree with a lot he says about the control system and the nature of reality. I’ve only watched a few video’s by him but one was a 7 hour lecture I think it was called the Lion sleeps no more or something along that line. My favorite part of the lecture was the last hour or so when he talked about the unification of humanity, there was so much passion and the message was so amazing that I got chills watching it. Actually I got chills every time they played this little clip of a lion breaking out of the chains of the control system, something about it really affected me on a deeper level. I think a lot of people are turned off of David Icke when he talks about the reptilians but for me that stuff is secondary, the thing I really like about him is when he talks about the empowering stuff especially when he talks about how we are all possibilities having an experience.
@fercgomes, If you realy listened to some lectures or talks from David Icke, i think you should have known that putting the blame on somebody else is really not what he is doing.
It is correct that he says that their is an elite groupe of people manipulating the world, that’s true. But what he is saying is excactly what you suggest. That everybody is able to take their own responsibility and that without the manipulated state of mind from the people that their is no manipulation. Just a question : did you ever listened a full lecture from Icke? Where he explains in multiple hours the global conspiracy and talks about the evidence and arguments?
@broken-yogi, He men did you ever listened to a full lecture from David Icke? A multpile hour long lecture? It is not that what you are saying is per definition not true but to be honest he talks about so many topics. And partly with so much proved evidence. I say this because it looks to me like what you are doing is the most simple way out way of putting a sticker on somebody without any arguments.
@thunderfeet, excactly. Don’t know for sure of course but I think I feel it mostly the same way as you do. The parts about the nature of reality and the global conspiracy are beautifull. Maybe you got an idea. What I do not understand is how people can say so easily that he is crazy when so much what he say is argumented to the fullest. And even proved! So much stuff about the Rothschild family, The Rockefeller family and the way global happenings are manipulated. What I think is that most off the people who are immidiately turned off, never listened a full lecture. Do you think there is some truth in that, or is it just that people really do not ‘believe’ him.
@satyapriya, thanks for the videos! I cannot talk about the “Reptilian Overlord” because I never really listened to the full theory. haha come on you know that tricking David Icke in to saying that he is the son of god was the most cheap way of making fun of him. He ofcouse ment that we are all god. I am you and you are me and the whole universe. Therefore we are also god ofcourse, if you whant to call it that way. But the audience didn’t understand this ..
Pretty new study wich show that is the case that an pretty elite group of people DO have an significant influence on todays society. Nothing conpsiracy, just science.
He brings up so many good points and brings up many problems with the world today. But my problem with him is that he’s exploitative.
He mentions how everything is vibration, which is true, but then he uses this fact to support his claim that these reptilians “operate and exist” just outside of our range of frequency or vibration. That’s pretty far fetched.
@joost20, I’ve seen both of the 6+ hour lectures. He likes to talk. He raises some mind shattering points. His stuff about hollow moon is very intriguing. I don’t take what he says as fact. I don’t take what anyone says as fact. Just another perspective of what is possible.
@chodebalm, agreed, he has good points and insightful insights but ranting in a sense where he connects everything in a non concrete manner,- to me he should start working on a creative solution,- something viable and stable rather then whipping the air with resent, unstable facts and hours of presentation that loose there nature of impact.
It becomes more or less a repetition,- sure there are people that are bad, not nice, take advantage, manipulate to a sense of insanity, but shouldn’t a person of insight work on solutions,- create stable alternatives, use the intelligence given. ?
@joost20, Oh I completely agree, like you can get a good idea of what David Icke is about but to get the full affect you need to watch a full lecture. Something about the way he goes from one point to the next and ties it all together just makes it come across better. I think that he is going to be one of the key components of bringing about the next step for humanity, like he understands what’s so wrong with our current paradigm and he really just wants to help the human species achieve our true potential.
@spiraltouch, I can understand if you think that for instance the reptilian stuff and some theories are a bit far fetched. But don’t you think that saying that a person with insight would use his intelegence and work on solutions. When you say stuff like that I immediately get the feeling that you never listened to a full lecture of Icke. This because then you should know that he does work on solutions all the time and uses his intelegence to try to make people aware of the fact that you can set yourself free. And that everybody is unlimited potential and in power of his own life. So saying that he only blames the elite and does not come with any solutions is not the right thing to do, because it is not true.
@joost20, sure he is a wise man,- speaks truth from a certain perspective i guess. but never did i used the word elite in that context,- I rather focus on the problem. To me the problem is simple, people have no food,- need more intelligence, or are moreover have lost there believe, hope- spirit of truly working together, economy that is gowing nowhere.
So when he tells things that come over scary,- it becomes more or less something i refuse to believe, i’m not to fond off listening to. I’ve listened to his ideas, even the full 6 hour version.. So basically he comes down to make a statement, understood, so what are we going to do about it. Work together, play the game of pointing fingers or just get things done the right way
I’m not saying this is an accurate marker, but you can kind of tell how authentic someone is by how dumb their followers are. Go on David Icke’s website and look at how paranoid and stupid most of the people on there are.
I’ve listened to a lot of his stuff. He’s telling a story that we have to believe in. Just a bundle of thoughts that we have to accept at face value. No matter how accurate it looks, there are other explanations equally as valid.
If the conspiracy exists (in the sense that some group controls the rest, who are innocent and non-complicit), the conspirators would love David Icke. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. That’s all I’m gonna say.
@joost20, Hey, did I say that Icke is putting the blame? Did I said he was wrong? Ha, no.
I only heard about him, what he talks about. I don’t like taking sides, whether I watch his lectures or not, won’t change much. I was talking generally about conspiracy theories videos on Youtube. You selectively picked some content of my reply to use it with the fact that you probably watched more videos from Icke than me, ignoring everything else. When I say that there is some good conspiracy theories out there, that could be pretty much Icke.
@fercgomes, He men, first of all I ignored some parts of you comment for instance because of this:’ I know what are you looking for when you ask people for their thoughts about it, you want someone to prove it wrong or right, but you gotta do that by yourself. ”’ What do whant me to say? No thats not true? You probably would not believe me because you KNOW right. So that’s spilled energy. And since the topic was about Icke yes did interpreted the ”These kinds of conspiracies, hollow moon, reptillians, etc, always makes us project an external element, a elite group that is controlling everything, that we put the blame for everything on them.” as if you where saying that Icke is putting the blame on an elite group. And btw how can you say that you do not take sides beforehand? I mean when somebody tells you something which you by feeling believe and is pretty much proofable. You still say no no I do not take sides sorry? Questioning everything is a good thing for sure, but saying nope I will never choose a side, whatever the context. That does not sound logic to me. Peace!
@joost20, I tend to claim a lot of stuff and in the end say that I don’t claim anything, and also when I start writing a reply, I tend to forget what the main point was. I get lost on my own points, because of the language, most of the time.
Questioning everything is good as some sort of mind amusing thing. When you put some sort of life-mission, you only get disappointments. I used the hollow moon and reptillians examples because it was on the context of the topic. What I don’t like about conspiracy theories is how they make me want stay locked in my room trying to protect myself from something that I don’t know if exists or not. Once I was very paranoid about those, and then I realized how much of life I was wasting. I started not caring about those theories that much, because they don’t seem to improve my life any better when taken so seriously.
I need to work on my logic now, if I still have one. At least stuff still makes sense in my mind.
@fercgomes, Hee you sound like you got the gutts to be honest and objective as possible to and about yourself. Respect.
Last thing, what you said about that conspiracy theories make you whant to lock yourself inside and trying to protect yourself, this is excactly why I encourage everybody to take the time to watch a full lecture! A big deal Icke talks about this, he calls is the ‘poor little me frame’ . He explains that you are not ‘poor little me’, but completely the other side. You are unlimited potential, a multidimentional spiritual being, the universe!. And that YOU are the one who can make a difference in breaking lose, easily.
Wish you the best bro,
David Icke…..mmmm. Either barking mad or very clever, if you ask me. In my humble opinion, it’s all about the age old principle of generating enough conspiracy and fear in people that it keeps us locked in our homes and buying the books and DVD’s!! It’s a principle the American Government have used for years; keep people afraid and mortgaged to the hilt and desperately needing the latest iphone or games console, just so it stops them thinking about real issues in life – but then, I guess that’s what this community is all about. No – there aren’t lizard people and a hollow moon, but there is a terrific amount of ignorance; maybe that’s the real monster. Peace x
