What happened to the Valhalla Movement?

Why did they change their mission? It’s not going to be the first of many ecovillage communities of its kind anymore, but rather a supportive platform for other sustainable community initiatives. When and why did this happen? And wasn’t the Valhalla Movement supposed to be a documented model of with trials and errors and how to overcome them in order to successfully build a closely knit sustainable community? To me, the new mission would far easier to execute if the members of the Valhalla Movement were based in the ecovillage, which the movement was to create.

There are already lots of Ecovillages all over the world. Maybe what was missing was precisely a place to help people build their own ?
But I think you will have a better answer from the actual initiators of the Valhalla Movement :-)
