What IF.. There is a war being planned against freedom

ELizard (@heavydreamz) 9 years, 2 months ago

Alot of people shout conspiracy ‘theory’ when this kind of subject arises.

But it is important to acknowledge the American liberty to freedom is being attacked from all directions. You might have thought at one time or another, “what if there was not enough food or water for everyone? What happens then? What if the economy crashes? Who is going to starve?”

What if there is some serious shit going on behind the movie scenes of politics and the media. What if those in power are well aware of what could be happening in the next few years.

We need to protect the ones we love. We need to protect freedom. If there is a war being planned against freedom, what are we going to do about it? Sit around and wait for the mitary to knock on our doors and drag us to concentration camps? There are alot of people speculating that the same manipulations are happening that lead to genocide in nazi Germany.

Read this story about how the people were manipulated during that time

Here is a recourse to inform you about how our government is spending our ‘tax dollars’

Please share any supporting evidence if you agree or disagree. More importantly, what are we going to do if this is a real threat to the freedom of humanity? Let’s get real. Let’s take freedom as seriously as the forefathers who founded a country designed to prevent just this.

Everything appears to be monitored from every angle, through so many sources, at all times.

We cannot let this continue my friends.

Not to be an ass, but what if there isn’t? I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. What if everything is just events that ripple out from things from earlier eras like dominoes, and it’s not some evil sinister plot worthy of SPECTRE from James Bond. It’s just push and shove. Our leaders today, both politically and in the business world, came of age in the ’80s, the era of yuppies, of Gordon Gekko, and greed is good. The year is 2013 but they still carry with them the same business cutthroat mentality which was imprinted on them in their young adulthood. So we’re still experiencing the fallout from that, it’s a harsher world because our leaders grew up with a cutthroat instead of compassionate mindset.

@theskafish, Then nothing happens. Simple as that. That may very well be the case.

However, the drones, UAV’s, spy cameras, warrantless searches leave a sour taste in my mouth.

I still think it is best to be prepared in case. We don’t need another holocaust. 60 years ago isn’t that long ago. The USA used to be all against this type of stuff! Now we are adopting it. What happened?

There is no doubt too many people on this planet and it will be the death to all of us. China has the birth limiting idea down. It’s what has to happen. Genocide isn’t the answer.

@heavydreamz, This war has been going on for a very long time actually. Our economy was specifically set up to fail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gKX9TWRyfs Our media brainwashes us to feel bad about ourselves and to keep spending money on things we don’t need, to view violence as entertainment, and to focus on celebrities rather than important issues. The reason this control of our freedom is becoming more apparent is because the controllers are getting more desperate. Due to the internet, people are becoming more intelligent, individualistic, and aware of what is going on so they are having to resort to more drastic measures in order to continue controlling us. But it is only a matter of time before the people finally win out. There are too many of us, they cannot win as long we make more people aware and we band together to create change. @ballsackturtles23, Man this is getting tiring.

I have no idea how many times I have said it on this website now but THE HUMAN POPULATION IS NOT ESCALATING, IT IS RAPIDLY SLOWING DOWN AND WILL PROBABLY HIT A STANDSTILL AT 2050.

Everyone needs to relax their fannies.

ELizard (229) (@heavydreamz) 9 years, 2 months ago ago

@staylucky, We do not live in a sustainable economic system, because the population isnt accelerating does not mean there will be enough for everyone (1 billion people are hungry every out of the nearing 8 billion despite enough food produced a year to feed 12 billion). We see how the media freaks out about limited recourses all the time but then talks about bailing out corporations to keep economy moving. This is highly contradictory. We cant be ignorant to this.

@nikkihaze, I totally agree, thanks for you response. Most people don’t think this way though, many aren’t convinced. Everyday I wake up to this reality, Im more able to accept it despite my fairytale dreams of what life is like growing up as a child.
The more I learn about the intricate functions of our global economic system, the more I am faced with the reality that we live in a dangerous world, fueled by exploitation, with the heads of the exploiters growing more every day that we remain ignorant to the reality of an extreme gap in the distribution of wealth that most people can barely comprehend ( imagine starting a race in a hot desert, you don’t get water, you cant take a break, the finish line is 10,000,000,000 miles away, your opponent starts on the finish line).
Its clear people are increasingly waking up with the communication made possible by technology and the internet.
One thing is clear, these people are evil. The world is being ripped off and we are all to blame for being a part of it. Its clear after watching Thrive that the world bank connects every economy on the planet, and is exploiting every economy the same way U.S. banks exploit the US economy. Its clear after watching zeitgeist that economies are a hoax used to push agendas, with wars fought to generate jobs and a striving economy, therefore preoccupied in the game of mindless consumerism till we die.
I hope the people win out, but what if we dont do ANYTHING? It appears the powers at be are well equipped to maintain power. There are definitely more of us.. even though we would all die without our rulers we are so helplessly reliant on.

@heavydreamz, You have to be careful of slipping into the negativity and hopelessness though. This is exactly what the controllers want, they want us to forget how much power we really have and that we really can change things. If you really look, you will see things actually are changing. The fact that this website even exists or that we are capable of viewing and sharing those documentaries is a huge step that was unheard of not even 20 years ago. The 1% protest is another sign that people are waking up and taking a stand, even if it doesn’t seem like it didn’t any good. Change first starts on an individual level, which is why the change may seem like it’s not happening but as more and more people wake up, they find others like them and take actions that have huge impacts. Just do your best to educate others and take what ever actions you can to improve the world, even if its small steps. The flap of a butterfly wing can start a tornado hundreds of miles away.

I sometimes wonder if any one has any idea about their united nations declarations of human rights? That almost every country in the world has signed, and every single western country is signature to. The first generations rights are exactly what you are talking about, it protects you from your government EVER misusing their powers over you and taking away your freedoms or human rights. After world war 2 the world kind decided..shit we really cannot let that ever happen again, that was super bad and we need to keep the people in power accountable to someone. If the American government were to ever misuse and mistreat its citizens the way that you have stated then the UN would be all over that shit, and it would be posted all over the world that the US government need to be stopped. Now im not saying there is no injustice in the world, because obviously there still is, but there are also a lot of people in the world who want to wrongs to be righted. I really really doubt that it will ever happen, im not saying its not possible, because anything is possible… but how about sometimes believing that there are more people in the world who prefer to do good…

@heavydreamz, At no point did I include any views on sustainability or resources. I am also well aware of the distribution of food, though this should come as no shock when we consider that abour 16% of America’s population go hungry every day.

Let’s address the issues. And just so we can be clear, population increase is definitely not one of them.

@esotericlovell, Unfortunately it is not the UN’s job to fight wars. They try to provide support and aid….and then leave just when things start to get really fucked up.

My country – Bulgaria – is actually starting to wake up and we’ve had massive protests in the streets for nearly a month now. i think things are going in the right direction here. People are shouting “REAL DEMOCRACY” and stuff like that. It’s something like the Islandic revolution except we’re not bankrupt. Yet.

I’m not downplaying the seriousness of the question in the original post – but regardless of what period of history you live in, as long as governments exist, there is a war being planned against YOUR freedom.

Reality check: Government is not your friend. They are not here to help you. Sure – you may gain some residual benefit from their operations, but you can be sure that whatever you recieve is stolen property. Governments are nothing more than a parasitic institution that only seeks to insure its own survival.

Forget all of the Republican vs. Democrat, conservative vs. liberal, right vs. left bullshit. The reality is: It’s the State vs. the Individual.

“Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.” ~ Friedrich
Nietzsche

Ideas and ideologies ARE warfare. All ideas in our collective consciousness are fighting for relevance…trying to stay alive. It is the faithful minority that keep ideas in the collective consciousness. Some are do so politically, others artistically, and many others by sharing the ideas within the lives we live together.

While I do fight for the concept of freedom, the concept of America has no utility for me. Freedom has always had a nemesis, and likely always will. The villain of the day is not as important as the way we manifest the freedoms we espouse in our shared experiences. History shows that freedom in our hearts and minds can never be vanquished, and it is there that it waits for the next opportunity to win over more minds.

*Around 2050, people are just… gonna quit fucking!

Look people, the only reason the population as big as ours will decline is because there won’t be enough resources to go around. You know what that means? Death famine disease, all that fun stuff. If the population does go down it’s not gonna be “oh, people just decided to have on child or stop fucking”. Use your fucking head! Yes I’ve seen the studies you got the information for this on. It’s total bullshit.

We won’t be able to grow cheap, fake food when we run out of oil, the sick people who can’t fend for themselves off of the land will die, there will be a lot of dying.
They will try to take what is yours – the world will be in a state of martial law for a while after oil runs out.
May the best families survive.

*Found another article that cites the 2050 tapering prediction. Basically, it’s a possibility, but they don’t know.

“It’s far from certain that any of this will come to pass. IIASA’s numbers are based on probabilistic projections, meaning that demographers try to identify the key factors affecting population growth and then try to assess the likelihood that each will occur. The several layers of guesswork magnify potential errors. “We simply don’t know for sure what will be the population size at a certain time in the future,” demographer Wolfgang Lutz told IIASA conference-goers earlier this year. “There are huge uncertainties involved.” Still, it’s worth discussing, because focusing too single-mindedly on the problem of overpopulation could have disastrous consequences—see China’s one-child policy.”

I dunno, maybe your right. But even China’s one child policy, they have a girl, the throw it out. The numbers aren’t 100%. People like to fuck, that’s not gonna change. Maybe your right… I seriously doubt it!

@ballsackturtles23, but you forget that birth control is becoming more and more commonplace, and probably cheaper too. No, people are not going to quit fucking. But as attitudes get more modern and birth control gets more available, there will be less kids definitely. People in the Western world used to have lots of kids in the early part of the 20th century when life was still agricultural, but as time went on, families got smaller. Most families today that I’ve seen here in the West have 2-3 kids max. People are already putting off having children or forgoing it entirely in America due to either economic reasons, new ideas on how to live life, etc. More and more women, for instance, are becoming less caught up in the idea of marriage, 2.5 kids, and a white picket fence – it’s not even just about economics, more women are becoming independent-minded and just don’t want to be tied down. I can only imagine as modern ideas expand outward into the developing world, birth rates will decline there as well. They’ve been high there due to inadequate birth control and medieval, male dominated ideas on sex, often paired with outdated religious views on the subject.

So you might see people still having babies all the time. But the rate at which they’re having them could very well be slowing down.

@theskafish, You must know people with a higher level of awareness than I do.

My brothers wife is having her 4th child as we speak (at 21 years old). If each of those kids has half the children she has at 21 Eiiiiik!!!!!!?!?!?!?! You think she will stop at having kids at 21? No, she is gonna do it her whole life because that’s what her mother did and that’s all she knows.

They likely won’t. They will do the same thing their parents did! And the catholics. I worked with this hispanic dude, had 8 kids at 34. They don’t believe in birth control. Each one of those… lets be conservative, has half what the parents have done (I promise you it will be more) that 32… 32 from one. Those children only have half (yet again, I don’t see why they would have less, but let’s be conservative with our numbers) 32*2, 64. Chances are, when these 64 children are walking around, the grandparents will be old, but not dead! YIIIIIIIKKKKKKEEESSSSS!!!!

The actions of the few with this attitude will totally counter (even if only a fraction of the population is mulitplying like fire) the population using birth control.

TheSkaFish (962)M (@theskafish) 9 years, 2 months ago ago

@ballsackturtles23, well, I’m not saying it never happens. But it’s the exception, not the rule. People as a whole are marrying later, or even if they don’t marry they still have more and better access to birth control than previous generations.

“And the catholics. I worked with this hispanic dude, had 8 kids at 34. They don’t believe in birth control”

That’s true, but the Catholic church has been losing membership like crazy. Most religions it seems are, as technology advances and knowledge spreads. There’s still a lot of hangers-on, sure, but it’s like you said, they’re in the developing world, mostly. Sure the guy you knew has 8 kids. But his kids will grow up seeing that having 8 kids doesn’t work, because of money, because of space, etc. and all that money and time and energy they could’ve spent on kids, they’ll want to spend on themselves. As the generations get more Americanized, they’ll be less and less like their hardcore Catholic ancestors.

@theskafish, I hope your right! Time will tell. You make a good argument.

But as a gambler, I look at the odds from the cards that have been turning up so far. I would place my bets that the population continues to grow.

@ballsackturtles23, Holy fuck you’re stupid.

People probably fuck more now. The difference is that women are treated as equals now.. they’re not simply seen as child bearers. Many live alone in the city and live independent lives and have casual sex with men who.. wait for it.. wear condoms!

Our society has changed so much since the time of our grandparents. People aren’t just having families and popping out 5 kids. They’re traveling, getting married later if at all, and realising that it’s far more economical to have 1 or 2 kids.

Please think before you write.
