I’m happy to be alive because I get to experience this album, as well as endless selections of other extraordinary music.
I’m also really happy to live in this time of tremendous technological growth in which the world is changing so rapidly. It’s hard to say whether these changes are for the better or not, but whatever the case, they sure provide quite a spectacle. So much has already happened in my lifetime, and if for no other reason I am excited to live out the rest of my life just to witness more of this incredible chapter in humanity’s story.
I think the number one thing that makes me glad to be born in this time period is the internet, the people I’ve met on here (especially HE), and the amazing things my online connections have brought me. It has changed my life in mind boggling ways.
Kinda similar to what the others said: technology and the internet. It amazes me how far we have come. I mean have touchscreens and can unlock things via fingerprint?? Everything seems speeding up and complimets humans so much more. Efficiency is so sexy, haha :)
I am glad to be alive because of all those amazing movies that are coming out this year. Also I finish High School this year so I’m super glad to be alive to experience the ending of hell.A bit scared for College but still excited nonetheless.
Is another group like them that I love.
It was Gala and Alina that I listened to first and the other day I walked into class and my instructor was playing them. I had to ask her a question but, I kept getting interrupted by the bad ass parts in this song.
“I love this song!” We got to talk about the production and how clean it really is put together nicely.”
She suggested I listen to Odesza. I haven’t listened to all of that album but, I did like what I heard so far.
(This was literally Wednesday and I literally just made this account now to respond to this haha)
I totally agree with you about technology. I think that there is a good amount of both sides to question where our technical ethics go. I love moving forward of course! So, yes I am with you on that idea about watching the rest unfold. I am in hopes that it is for the better. :)

The advantages and conveniences of living in a time when new doors are opened at a faster rate than the closing of both old and new doors. And at a rate where new doors are opened before the old ones become crowded by idiots.
It’s easy to make money and travel and be creative and stuff like that these days.
I’m also glad to live in this day and age because it’s easy to have a positive impact on a humanity that’s so thoroughly fucked up. I’m pretty sure human stupidity and vice is close to critical mass, humanity is becoming more self-destructive with every passing day.
Which gives me hope that it will turn around before I leave this world behind, that I will get to witness (and take part in) the raising of this sinking ship.
Internet, unlimited access to any kind of information, education and music aaaand finally returning home after living quite a while in Japan! Cant wait to see how my experiences changed me and how they will effect my everyday life in my usual environment. Also, Banks is going to release her new album this year. :D
I feel happy to be alive in 2016 because I have been to many places on my journey throughout life itself. I had a massive Stroke in 2009 and I thank an unseeable force in not making me have any disabilities because of it.
This Stroke has made me, or forced me to live for each moment in my life and to not judge or be nasty to people or anything in this wonderful life of ours on this wonderful planet that we call our home.
Since then I trained to become a Peer Mentor working for Swanswell in the U.K. I now go to Leicester University which I started going in 2015 to study for a degree in Drugs and Alcohol with treatment. THis will take me until 2019 to complete.
It feels good to be alive and this is why i’m happy to be alive in 2016.
Thank you for listening to a short storey of my life.
All the best
The thing that makes me so much alive this new year was that, this girl, who i knew for so long, has taken more interest in me than i ever hoped for. Now i would like to dedicate this february, and consequently a part of my lifespan to my dearest!
wish me luck!
Happy to be committed to my goals more than ever this year!
I am challenging myself by traveling to SEA this year as well as a few other states/countries.
Reading lots/being more self aware (of my thoughts/actions)/Meditation/Fitness and Nutrition/Relationship building/Self-development/Find my purpose/Hobbies!
Also am extremely grateful and happy to be alive in an age where education is freely available on the internet and that music has become what it is today! I wouldn’t be anywhere without it :)
I’m happy to be alive in 2016, because the access to social media gives me a chance to practice open-mindedness and awareness towards the automatic judgement that arises from my gut when I see something I disagree with. I’m also happy to be alive and present on this discussion board and website which has given me comfort in knowing I’m not the only one who thinks the way that I do.
