When is the best time to have a shower?

CoT Perspective (@albi1984) 9 years, 7 months ago

I’ve noticed that a morning shower can wake you up very well, but it lacks in length and enjoyment because you’ve normally got things planned for the day, therefore you have a time limit.

AND

A night shower is a great way to refresh and relax for the night, but can sometimes leave you feeling very awake, therefore no sleep.

What’s your opinion HEthens?

I usually go with an evening shower, so that i can go to bed all clean. that way, your sheets dont get dirty. plus, if you take a warm shower at night, it gives your body a chance to cool down, whichll help you sleep. your body naturally wants to cool down at night. I know cold showers are typically encouraged here, and thats all very nice, but i save my cold showers for after a workout, and jumping in a creek works just as well.

I always change it up depending on how I feel and what I need to do that day. When I am going to have a busy day I always shower the night before. When it’s a lazy day I’ll shower in the afternoon. Then when I have a less busy morning but things to do later in the day I will shower in the morning.

@sumtinprophetic, Lollercaust

@albi1984, I take extremely short showers in the morning, a sort of wake-me-up ritual, and slightly longer showers near the end of my day. I relax in front of the television or pc until I feel sleepy, and that’s how it goes.

After working out, and/ or before going out.

@iamkb, Yes yes yes! It’s always good to have a nice cup of tea after a shower. ULTRA WARM.

@dominika, @aliwine, @sharks, Thank you all for the great answers!

@sumtinprophetic, very straight forward, i love it! HAHAH

@sirensetmefree, That idea of having short showers is very good for the morning, especially when you’re in a hurry!

That is very subjective – but i like to think of showers as being like a form of meditation or entrance/exit to a day – so a shower in the morning is preparation for the day and a shower/bath in the evening is a good time to reflect. but skinnydipping late at night can also be quite satisfying ;:D

I am pro morning shower but use it as a meditation for starting a fresh, clean slate for the day. Gives me a chance to start over every day, which the hopes of absorbing something new and exciting. I personally view evening showers as fun time between two people. Otherwise I am ok without evening showers. Just leaves me feeling too awake for actual sleep. Even with a good cup of tea. I struggle with sleeping as is so a refreshing shower before attempting sleep would be advised against.

The best time to have a shower is after making passionate love with you mate (they, of course, also being the shower with you).

The best time to take a shower is whenever you feel like it :)

Showers before going to bed make me feel awake, so no.
When I wake up I like to have a shower like a fresh start of the day

When you have some company. In prison.
