What is the purpose of romantic love?

Where does it fit in, if we’re all just parts of one consciousness? If time is irrelevant, or if we get reincarnated, do the same people date in different lifetimes?

Romantic love, to me, is very natural. Sometimes it’s okay to take a look around say why not, instead of what if. My answer to you is we don’t know right now. Nothing is certain.

It fits  in as a mirror  of yourself,  as a trust  and stimulance,  as comfortable  and sharing  zone.  And sex can be great too.  Imho  in many cases  we know each other  from past  lifes.  Could  be as neighbor,  brother, enemy  etc.  Sometimes  people  have  a relationship  for centuries  as lover.  And yes we can be all one,  yet  we have  a ego.  And if that’s  not a issue   we have  a plan or path  to follow   We don’t  exist  without  relating

I believe that the purpose is to feel validated and happy, and at the same time sharing souls with someone and connecting on that deeper level.

The purpose of romantic love is to ensure the survival of the human species. It is a physiological response to a potential mate.
