Every time i have watched the movie edward scissorhands it brings me to tears. This cruel world doesnt deserve you. Edward you diamond
I know what you mean man, im not a huge Edward Scissorhands fan but it is a really moving movie
The Futurama Episode about Fry’s beloved dog brings me to tears faster than just about anything else, maybe im just too nerdy and love dogs too much but man that episiode is hard to watch.
In my case it is seeing and relating to/understanding someone else’s grief or pain which will bring about a teary onset. Seeing others suffer elicits an emotional response from me. More specifically, seeing people trying to cope with the death of a friend or relative.
I’m not much of a “crier.” I proud myself on that.
But watching Homeward Bound, seeing one of my brothers cry, or stubbing my toe brings tears to these eyes. And apparently when Oprah surprises her hair stylist of 25 years with a spot on her “favorite things” show. Seen it 3 times, teared up every time. Gosh dang.
The movies “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” and “Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father,” along with similar moving films.
Some of my favorite songs, such as “Starálfur” by Sigur Rós or “Disappear Like the Morning…” by Hammock tear me up too.
Oh jeez, I’m cry baby when it comes to movies. A.I. at the end gets me every time, though. This innocent little robot boy just wants his mommy :( and he can only spend a day with her after his long search and then he goes to sleep forever with her. It’s just so touching. Makes me teary just thinking about it. Other than that, I have a lot of big ones! But to end this on a pleasant note, I have been crying tears of joy lately. Ever since I discovered stumble upon, I’ve been reading about people making hobbit-like homes and living there or reading about what has been happening in Egypt and what they have accomplished. It really hit home when Mubarak left office. That’s history right there and it’s worth feeling something over. In short though, I’m pretty blubbery in general!
I actually cried while watching Top Chef the other night. The winning chef’s daughter came out to surprise him and you could just feel the love! They were so sweet with each other. ASPCA commercials also get me every time. I’m pretty tough when I get hurt, but I had a toe incident not too long ago and I cried from the pain. I enjoy a good cry every few months. It’s cleansing.
When people win awards. Sad things don’t really make me cry but when people accomplish something that is difficult and they get choked up… I turn all gooey and teary eyed.
every time i try to express my feeling through words
i can’t find any words to explain how i am feeling inside and then tears starts failing without me even realizing it and then i just seem like an emotional wreck.
If something is sad enough to make me cry in my life, then I don’t and actively deal with it and turn it into a positive experience. I ended up seeing a child die on Sat night, having never seen anything like that before, and have absorbed all the feelings and turned them into feeling glad to be alive in a way I never have before.
I don’t want to waste any of my life mourning something, I want to be strong enough to get on with things.
Although movie wise, All Dogs Go To Heaven makes me so weepy!
I’ve been brought to tears by music a lot. You wouldn’t expect it but I’ve cried to hip hop lyrics on several occasions. Haha. Oh yeah, I only listen to good hip hop.
Whenever I read a quote that seems to be talking exclusively to me on a matter that has been aching my heart. Same goes with concepts from movies.
I also go through short spurts of intense empathy on rare occasions for people in my life, as they struggle with some issue that I don’t believe they see the implications of. And that often sends me to tears.
When I was Nine I cried for all the turkeys on thanksgiving.
AI made me cry, the teddy bear.
The Bridge to Teribethia made me ball. I was pissed off at the ending.
Beautiful music coupled with inspiring quotes. So simple.
