What pulls you out and lifts you up?

When you are in a place of negativity, when you find yourself struggling doubting and falling into despair, what do you do? What ways do you know? Do you use? What have you found to be the most effective methods for dealing with feeling lost? I find myself filled with great inspiration some days and then lacking it during others. Fueled with passion some days and failing to find momentum on others. Does having a more structured plan help some of you out there? What gives those of you out there focus and sustainable confidence? What tools do you use to keep doubt from dictating your decisions?

I let myself feel scared and listen until I can hear myself.

Unless it’s more manageable I do breathing exercises bc it floods you with oxygen and breaks up bad stuff

I completely know what you are talking about…there are some days when you are elated, like life is this golden egg, so precious, you can hardly contain your excitement and pure positivity…and then there are those days, that I like to call them, the excess days, days when the excesses of myself arise…too much ego, too much thought, too much doubt.

I do not have a magic answer for how to keep the better days steady, but I think, your routine morning, night, and mid day need to be set in cement, with unwavering dedication. So…a morning ritual like yoga, 5 min of silence, prayer, reading your short manifesto…whatever you do…then mid day, you need to find some quiet time, check in with yourself, I literally ask myself ‘How are you doing? Is everything alright? Anything bothering you?”…..then before bed, you write, reflect, write poetry, check in again, how was today, how did you handle it, what can you learn from today.

Every time, I think I am on the up swing, like some how I got myself and life figured out, I am tested yet again, a new growth must occur, it is the inevitable human life course, so know that the lows are the only way you grow, so embrace them with a full heart.

All the best,

Lisa.
