@triplemind, It symbolizes the feminine aspect, the sun symbolizes the masculine.

Part of a quote I saw here.

“It’s like I’m the moon and she’s the sun. Our purpose serves difference but entwines to one.”

The moon personified is the balancing factor. It’s the unappreciated best friend. The “friend zoned” friend. While everyone gives praise to the bright charismatic sun because it shines so brightly, the moon may go unappreciated but it’s what holds everything together.

Something like that. The moon to me is also very calm, yet powerful.

I heard too much moonlight causes one to descend into madness. Or at the very least, werewolfism.

Also heard the moon was like this:

@triplemind, it’s a clip of Georges Melies’ movie, “A Trip to the Moon” (of course it was called something else in its original French). It’s a story about traveling to the moon, before anyone knew what the moon was really like, back in the early part of the 20th century, like in the 1900’s. It’s not very factual of course, but it’s interesting seeing what people imagined about the moon back then.

Watch The Mighty Boosh. That will answer all your questions about who the moon is.

To me the Moon is a dear friend, a lover, usually she appears in the sky when I’m in a bad mood and has the power of showing me the light during my dark nights of the soul. To put it into words, It’s like when I’m running out of light, she can reflect upon me my light and show it to me so i can shine again. But, as everyone, she has her dark moments as well and we have to understand that. She has brought me great insights about love, relationships and life.

I really liked this quote I found here the other day:

What you seek in life is a lot like the moon. You

Hope this helps with your project :)

My interpretation of the moon mounted on my wall. She’s the subtle sway of energy that varies from lunatic to enigmatic…

Or like @cocobonnat mentioned, a ball of fiber glass positioned in space. Aha
Take your pick. :)

@bcavaleiro, that will help wonderfly im sure. @selina, thats a warm face i see some nights. i draw her a lot too but i want to create or learn or modify moon poses and dances to get its specific “solar” power

@splashartist, i feel warm looking at her more alert. her domain IS cold- and dark- but even a sliver of her gaze is love and that warms me

@triplemind. The moon, to me, acts as a mysterious schizo. Always showing it’s good side in order to provide light for others, yet hides the darkness of itself because it’s mysteriously cold.
