Arianne (@arischreiber) 8 years, 10 months ago

hey! this is my first post.i am spanish and ill try to expres myself the best as i can :)
since i was a little girl , when i look at myself in the mirror its like i lose my mind.
what i mean : If am looking at myself ( washing my face or putting on makeup) and after a moment, if i am relaxed , i forget even my name. If i am looking straight into my own eyes i go into something like a trance and i can hear questions asked to me that i cannot answer. who are you? why are you here?? for a while i dont know where i am. does anything like this happen to anyone else?? i dont know how to explain it better, the language might be a obstacle.

Ive gotten this a lot in the past. This is something you have to look inward to find. Answers do not lie outside.

@splashartist, Answers do not lie anywhere. There are no such things. There are only understandings.

We all have these questions. And the answers can only be found by yourself.

@optimystic, 2+2?< Question. 4 < answer.

@arischreiber, have fun with it! See where the trance takes you in your mind, maybe you’ll learn something about yourself, or maybe you’ll be taken to the floor cause you fell over!

Either way, don’t be scared of what’s happening, just go with it until it goes away. I mean, all you have to do is not look at mirrors if you can’t figure it out, not THAT big of a deal :)

@splashartist, Nope. The number four on its own is just another number. We understand that adding numbers together gives us a greater one. It is an understanding. Answers are contingent, i.e., made up.

@arischreiber, Idk what your experience is exactly but personally, the more I learn of and observe the details of life, the more I genuinely feel I know myself. This is a great site to explore information. Read up on some philosophy, watch some videos. Hope you find your way.

@splashartist, The world as we see it is a patch of guesswork, woven with the uncertainties and curiosities of the mind. What you’ve read of mine is a mere belief, subject to change. I’m not suggesting that you adopt my way of thinking (as you appear to be ridiculing it), just to ponder it, that is, if you’ve the willingness to do so. Cheers bro

@optimystic, There’s nothing to ridicule. Its all within the play of the mind.

The world is as we see it. The world is also as we aren’t able to perceive it. If that makes sense.

Each and every day you wake up you can be entirely different person. The only thing that bounds us to this persona is our mindset of who we are and who we want to become.

Life is fucking crazy.
