Why are we here?

I thought this would be a good place to seek some opinions, I am a Buddhist so in no way am I looking to change you nor do I look to be changed, I only seek your knowledge, your unfiltered life experience.

Let me start by giving a little background, I do not have a life goal like most people, goals are a way of seeking fulfillment, I am fulfilled absolutely, rather I have dedicated my life to seeking the perfect balance.

That sounds vague, so let me further specify;

I believe that we all have a different set of skills, as most do, but unlike most, I believe that the purpose of these skills is not to make you special, a natural marvel, but rather to instill balance. We know now better than ever that this world has so many infinitely complex ecosystems and stems of life, as it stands now we are 6billion people trying to make ourselves happy before we go to bed.

I say learn, learn about everything you do, every sickness you have, every food you eat, even what you drink, we live in the age of information, and this idea that people “own” knowledge is absurd they did not create that information, they where simply the first to record it in the human code, exactly what we are ALL naturally entitled to do on our own, u should only be able to choose what NOT to learn, not pay to learn a predefined selection of subjects.

What have I done so far:
I am located South Africa, i am a diving instructor, this is my income and life’s passion, but I ensure that I offer complete understanding of the underwater world that we dive, ensuring that I share as much as I know about what I love as I can.
I spearfish for food, this is the most natural way of aquatic hunting, as I also know how to build the gun naturally and I am continually learning more about our coastlines and marine life every time I go out, same applies to diving.
I study natural and renewable scientific methods for electricity, food, light, clean water and many more areas all of which I am exposed to on my travels as a dive instructor. (More posts on those to come)
And most importantly I tell anyone who asks as much as I can about anything that I know, ensuring that I can high lite what I saw as valuable, the gift of simplified knowledge.

If we all follow our passions absolutely and learn what does and doesn’t work, we will a world in which our pursuits are marvels of perfection, beauty in our actions. Our children would be born to a world with such incredible opportunity!

So I ask, what are all of you doing to shape the world around you? Where are you? what does or doesn’t work for you? I know I am but a drop in the ocean of life, but what is an ocean, but a multitude of drops.

I am influencing people, interacting with them and trying to put them in a state where they seek for more and more all the time. We need curiosity in the world to make people create always. When people feel curious maybe they find a special reason to be here active living and trying a little of everything. I tried to follow Buda once, but I discovered I am too young to follow this, I need more mind exploring experiences so after I can come back calmer than ever.

Where are u based man? May I suggest looking into modern Buddhism, it is significantly more applicable to our times and tribulations, as with all things Buddha understands that what he has attained is perfection, but stop consciously creating it for a second and it’s gone, modern Buddhism is an outlook, a recreation of ur purpose, it is a completely internal journey, one must always remember that u are not “ready” for Buddhism, u accept and adapt to it’s principals, the time taken is yours by right.

It’s not who we are… But what we do that defines us…
