Why does medicine seem to promote spiritual treatments?

Maybe it’s just me, but I notice that medicine seems to promote spiritualist treatments these days? Is there a reason why? Just curious… lol..

Exploring the meaning of life helps people be more conscious of the mind-body connection.

Is there evidence of this?

My evidence is from personal observation but there is a widespread link between mental health and spirituality and between mental health and physical health.

So to be mentally healthy one must be spiritual? I think in honesty this movement is just a plot by medical professionals.

What exactly is this widespread link, and where is there anything to support the idea?

The only link I’ve seen in general is that most really spiritual people suffer from personality disorders and/or a traumatic past.
That, and their general lack of logic and reason.

OK, so all in society must adhere to your morals and people like you, promoted via medicine?

I haven’t really heard any promotion of spiritual treatments. Just nonsense about “Hurry and get your health insurance before its too late!” What spiritual treatments are they promoting?

Have you ever heard of Ze Arigo? If not, you should look him up. The work he did was pretty insane. He was a spiritual doctor who would operate on people, remove tumors and infections with nothing more than a knife. When he operated on someone there was little to no blood, and the patients usually didn’t feel any pain, which was weird because he didn’t use any form of anesthesia on them. If I remember right he would tell reporters and researchers that a dead german doctor spirit(forgot his name) would whisper in his ear and help him diagnose the patients.

Maybe, just maybe, they came across some of Arigo’s treatments, saw how beneficial they were, and are now trying to replicate and promote them!.. if only.

It’s common knowledge that medicine is just a means to promote morals.
